While most of our actresses prefer having a fan club of their own, admiring them all the time, it takes the nerve of a Kareena Kapoor to admit to someone else being ‘good and talented’. Especially someone from across the border. But then the blue-blooded (Kapoor) gal is no ordinary immodest beauty. Kareena has the gumption to call a spade a spade, even if it means praising the neighbours. When asked about Pakistani actresses crossing political boundaries to come and work in Bollywood, Bebo replied, “I think we should encourage this totally. Look at the Pakistanis – they are so gorgeous! I have seen couple of their films and I think they are talented, too. They should come here and we should also go there.” And what if she was offered a role in a Pakistani film? Pat comes the reply, “If it is a good role, I will definitely consider it. There’s no reason why I shouldn’t!” Wow! Now the Pakistanis may not feel so bad losing a game of cricket. One lovely gal has made a whole lot of Pakistanis out there ‘feel good’!
