As the newlyweds arrived sharp at 7.30 pm, the guests were greeted at the entrance with “farshi adaab” (welcome) by Saif’s cousins. As a live band performed along with a singing opera, family and friends poured in and the mood was one of high exaltation.

A close friend of the Pataudi family also points out how the presence of Bollywood fraternity at the party was very limited. The source adds, “Rishi, Neetu and Bebo’s cousin Ranbir Kapoor skipped the event. The party however saw a lot of politicians rubbing shoulders with each other. I think sherwani comes with different criteria, you cant wear unfit sherwani.
my second thought suggest that few families use same bridal dress for dulhans, but wearing vice versa is not common practice.
Yes, it could unfair, if Kareena thinks so. But who are we to pass such judgment. we know they both are well off and belong to hi class family, so it is their tradition to wear the dress of groom’s mom.
