After her first movie , which was a super duper hit, she got married and left the industry. She only came back in a movie that too which her husband. She married too early. but i guess it is good for her. Longer you stay in industry, more are the chances that they become second wife of some buddha producer.
you gotta check it though. She was already married when she did Maine Pyar Kiya and even had a son/kids?
whatever anyway. I think she didnt have guts to be a superstar anyway. married or not. Or maybe chances in general were meager back then.
^^ As i wrote before, she married himalaya after her movie. she did have stuff to be a superstar. After her just one movie she gave madhuri and sri run for their money. not only that she was already loved by Indians before she came to movies. just like SRK who came from small screen she was already a hit before she joined movie industry.
Had divya bharti still lived and bhagyasri still working they would have replaced both madhuri and sri.
