Karachi, Pakistan problems have been cooking for the last thirty years. Post partition of East Pakistan, State or Establishment has embarked on a policy of indoctrination of its citizens no matter where and has not allowed any civilian participation that can make a difference. Unfortunately, ALL Political parties have participated in this exercize and non have the apetite or political base to challenge this totalitarian state. And we have the Mulla brigade to thank since they are the most willing participants.
Answer to these problems are very simple yet complex:

With due apologies, but this is no way to establish proper decorum. Here u have ppl insulting entire ethnic segments of Pak society that deserves a proper rebuttal or immediate censure. Since u chose not to censure, allow me to reciprocate in a manner that appeals to their senses.
I have many Punjabi, Pushtoon, Balochi, Sindhi, mohajir friends, all have admirable qualities such as great hosts, polite, loving and honorable people. One thing common in all these people is their ability to differentiate between people with character and those who have poor upbringing (trash). Clearly, from what is being written here regarding mohajirs and biharis demonstrates a lack of civilized discussion and shows the writers inbred prejuidices that has to be a product of narrow minded bigotry.
Its all very easy to spew racial hatred, slander the minorities, ridicule ppl based on their appearances, but what does all this diatribe mean? Writers of this trash are embarrassing their parents, friends and families and have achieved another low point in their abject, miserable life.

There was no such reference to Afghanis, million afghan refugees impact on Karachi socio-economic support systems is not a bigoted statement but statement of fact. Maybe for you even facts sound uneasy simply because its the truth that u are unable to digest thus the irritable bowl syndrome of unadulterated verbal diorrhea.

when mahajirs moved from Indian in 47, they were also not in good shape- they became rich due to various reasons I dont want to discuss here for I would be issued a warning by the mod.. seems this forum tries to be politically correct.. Khairm, Pakistan's economy took care of fleeing mahajirs, why can't we take care of poor Afghans now? whats wrong with them? They are also muslims and are racially closer to the natives of Pakistan:)

For your information, the muslims of minority provinces are far more proud of their afghan and turk ancestroy and heritage - the mughals and the rohaila pathans of UP.

Hyderabad deccan gave generous grants to Pakistan in early years plus many entreprenerus were specifically invited by Qaid to come to Pakistan such as Habib Ali who established Habib Bank here.

most of the afghan invaders were muslims if not all.. Punjabis have always been largely Islamic since Punjabiyat became reality.. even in Ranjit Singh's time. most of the Jatt soldiers were muslims... Sikhs came from Hinduism and it was because Hinduism was on the verge of being wiped away from the map.. actually Hindus should always thank Sikhs for saving their religion :)
I agree most of the invaders were not muslims but a large # of who migrated to the subcontinent were.. thats why we have 2 Islamic countries in the subcontinent..
