I found this website. Such a nice one…Thought I’d share. Its like a directory of places in Karachi. Really helpful compilation of places for Visitors and residents alike:)
Just wish there were more websites like this one for other Pakistani cities too.
high tea is not some snobby pooh poooh affair.. high tea was the tea that was enjoyed by the lower classes. its funny to see the wanna be snobs thinking that "high" in high tea means high society or upper class.
nyah mon, my fam is from Karachi. I am not provoking karaciites but wanna be goras who cant even do that right, naqal kay liye bhi aqal wali baat hai :)
:biggthumb there are way too many wannabes here ........

Yeah, stupid gora wannabes...They should be flogged...
Thanks for pointing out such a stupid mistake...What do they know what a high tea is...It's like a gora knowing what doodh patti is...
the first point is that the term wannabe is now used mostly as a synonym for a poseur, and thats what I meant.
the issue is not with ppl becing wannabes, but not even doing it right How can u have a site called karachisnob and make such a fauxpas..must be fugazi-snob
arjay saheb, whether its hi tea or high tea, it is not supposed to be a posh affair, its a working class meal :)
Neither is doodh patti...But I believe some company is marketing it in great packaging...It's probably expensive so people drink it and think it's great or bad or whatever...

Dear one....HI or HIGH TEA is the most IN thing at large Corporate bodies...me self coming from a corporate world of BANKING!
KEESH, CHICKEN DRUMSTICK, RED GRAPE JUICE, ENGLISH TEA, CHICKEN XOXO, PIES etc account to HI OR HIGH TEA....termed as the best mix for Corporate functions held around 11 am or 5-6 pm....!!
qibla..and that is the funny thing, this “IN” thing at “large corporate bodies” (including banking )
is not using the term correctly…and your post just proved it thank you
btw high or low tea at 11 a.m.? desi qaum sudhray gi naheen..
PS: Quiche not keesh .. unless calling quiche as keesh is also “In” at large corporate bodies (including banking)
PS2: caps lock key phans gayee hai shayad
