i dont think this phenomina is true cause i m from karachi and i m punjabi my self.
n i think it has some valid points cause i m not a big fan of panjabi people my self.
But I m curious why Punjabi hate karachiites …actually this is not the matter of love and hate but when u start giving more importance to other it ultimately turned into cold war between them isn’t it ? and this is wut exactly happened in case of sindh and Punjab one example janwar mentioned above and one my first cousin experienced when he went to Lahore for cricket………… (It’s a long debate …)
2 projects were running simultaneously in Pakistan one was motor way (Lahore) and other was Northern bypass (Karachi) so when govt realize they need money so they stop construction of northern by pass why they gave more importance to motor way Lahore no one can deny that Karachi generates major economy for Pakistan …….and I have a long list of this kind of examples……… we don’t hate Punjabi lekin ye batein feel hoty hain bus.. but y Punjabi hate karachiites ???
^ Don't generalize. I am Punjabi but I don't hate Karachi people.........I just hate stupid people regardless of their origin.
As far as the other reasons are concerned, all I would say to both parties is: QUIT being babies! Don't go to mommy crying he got more money than I did. We all need to ignore these things and get over them as there are much better concerns of life. Talking about these projects, I am sure there must be some good reason to stop the funding for Karachi and complete the Lahore project. Government knows better as we don't know their side of the story.
It's just like when someone gets banned. People just see that person as an angel who never meant any harm to anyone but mods and admins know both sides of the story and take appropriate actions. Members think that ban was unfair because they don't know the other side of the story (what the banned member did to deserve this ban) but it's fair for Admins because they know both sides of the story.
All the ethnic minorities in Pakistan....even those who reside in Punjab, the seraiiki, rajput types all hate punjabis.....akin to the minority attitude/feelings towards white folks in America.....
