These are the results of the 1998 census. In the ensuing 12 years, many more Pathans have come into Karachi, and many more Sindhis have returned to their capital city.

This is why the MQM is worried it will not be able to dominate criminal networks in the future.

If YOUR worry is running of “criminal networks” then just making Urdu speaking people a minority will not solve it. Because there are many criminal networks being run by Lyari gangsters like Rehman Dakait, and ANP’s Taliban brethren. MQM is not the only culprit in this fight.
But if you are only talking out of hatred of Urdu speaking people then your comment is justified.
