Shahid Ghauri has given 48 hours ultimatum to government to arrest the culprits and said this attack was from the series of attacks on leadership of Sunni Tehreek.
Sunni tehreek has setup a three members committee including (Shahid Ghauri, Qari Khaleel-ur-Rehman, Engr. Abdul Rehman) which will take care of all the happenings in Sunni Tehreek for now.
ALLAH AZZA WA JAL SAB SHUHADAA KO JANNAT-UL-FIRDOS MAIN AALAA MUQAAM ATAA FERMAYE AUR YEH ZULM KERNAY WALO KO IS DUNYA AUR AAKHIRAT DONO MAIN SAKHT SAZA DE
sunni tehrik and MQM did have clashes before the local bodies elections.Sunni tehrik has former members and activists of haqiqi,JUP and some jehadi outifts.Mqm can be accused of not providing them enough security since the home secretary is from MQm.But accusing them for working with an agency like RAW is absurd and secondly what will they gain to destablise the city afterall its their government in the city as well as province and coalition at the cenre.
qazi saab before the investigation agencies and police On Tv said that bomb was planted and it was done through a remote controlled device. So you share qazi husain 's view of the situation
So now we have evidence that it was a suicide bombing. What next?
This is an absolute tragedy, and a gross act of terrorism. I bet the intended targets, by and large, got away and most of the dead were probably just people who got caught up in the worng place at the wrong time.
Reading the responses in this thread, one is amazed. Most common question seems to be how a Muslim could do this, or how a human being could do this, or how the families of the deceased must feel. Of course, all of that is sprinkeled with the obligatory blame on foreign hands.
This scene has played out over and over again in other parts of the world, but no one seems to question the fatwas on suicide bombings., or the humanity of the killers, or feels sympathy with the families.
This is perhaps a good time to examine the culture that creates and exports this type of extremism. Maybe a good time to rexamine the jihadi culture that has been nurtured by successive military rulers and try to educate the masses so attacks from internal sources diminish.
My prayers are for the victims and their families.
It is getting clear by the years that some forces do not want to see religious activities on large scale. Its not about sunni-shea-or sunni/sunni alleged conflict.
Its about general perception that religious activities must not happen on large scale or religious prominent people must not live long enough!
In the recent past we have witnessed targetted killings of religious scholars who are not even into politics or any conflict. The nicer they are--earlier they are killed. (Masked gunmen on motorcycles belong to yet unidentified group)
Who would do such a crime??
People must refrain from causing more troubles for citizens by strike or burning their own properties and public vehicles!
In future these kind of religious activities must be protected by trained policemen and public areas must be secured till after the activity is over.
Look guys. Eid Milad function is fine with Shias. Only Wahabis oppose such celebrations.
Sad thing is that my fellow Karachites are hell bent on following fascists like MQM and the Mau-lunatics. We need to quit supporting fascists otherwise this beautiful city of lights will continue burning.

"Wahabis" do not oppose celebration to the extent that they will go on to blast the gathering. It obviously is an attempt to increase the gap between Brelvi and Deobandis.
