so what is your excuse of not buying costumes for your kids this year ..
They have new shalwar kameez form eid time, so girls can go out as pakistani princess and boys can go out as pakistani prince, so no new costume required.
Halloween is non islamic and you dont celebrate (although you take advantage of after halloween sale and buy candies in bulk for your next trip to pakistan)
You are just pure lazy and cant take kids out on that night
you are extremely kanjoos so dont wont to buy candies for neighborhood kids, hence dont want your kids to participate.
LOL! My parents loved halloween growing up! it was a non-religious holiday so they would totally participate as opposed to x-mas. Wearing your cultural dress as a costume is so offensive! There were always desi kids in shalwar, lehenga and asian kids in Kimonos and stuff in school...really what are you saying about your culture wearing these as a costume!
i love giving candy out to little munchkins…coz while i’m puitting some of my candy into their bags i pick up their candy and put it in my bag…and then i end up with more candies than what i started to give out!
oh oh oh…once I dressed up as a jin (just needed a it of retouching to my normal self ) but um yeah, and my mum was so confused () and i came back with loadsa sweets and she was even more confused () she was like (in punjabi) ’ you went out lookin like a jin and people were nice enough to give you stuff, what a back wards country! i tell you, these goray…’
tell me bout it tlk... desis can be so kanjoos at times its saddening
we have always given out candy, and as kids used to go ToTing.. it was great fun.. and would put in so much thought into our costumes...
hehe.. my brother actually judges a childs costume .. and decide what kinda candy they deserve, and if any at all :D .. yes.. desi princesses and princes get jack.. so do ghosts and well dressed man or woman at formal :D
