well. my khalas had a huge say in everything whilst i was growing up.

sooo in 3rd grade i had to b princess diana. dress like a lady, right?

well, the woman makes me wear a KARAIB, chiffon type, ORANGE gota waley kameeez, JUSt kamez, with ugly black closed shoes.

so that was my halloween. uf

saw the most stupidestest costume today at the mall
its a hatta kattaa achha khaasa insaan - some motion sensitive thing inside it
as soon as you walk in front of it, it raises its hands and takes his gardan off from his shoulders and says "Hoooooo ohaaaaaaaaaaaaa hhaaaa haaaaaaaa "
and the area on the gardan and the shoulders becomes red like blood :crying:

I wasn’t allowed to trick or treat as a child…my parents said that as children born into a shareef khaandaan, it was beneath our dignity to go out and beg for candy. :snooty: They had no problem giving out candy to the kids who came to our house (I guess they just chalked it up to mehman-nawaazi or whatever)…but we were never allowed to participate.
