knockout artist: I hope you realize that these were regulations put into place to curb the practice of abusing slaves (sexually, emotionally, physically). Now, keep in mind the Quran is also telling you to free your slaves if they ask for freedom:
So lets evaluate the scenarios, shall we:
You have a slave. They want freedom. You have no choice but to give them freedom as per Quran's orders. You don't get your sex.
You have a slave. They convert into a believing muslim. You have no choice but to marry them with a nikkah. You get your sex, but you now have a wife. Not so exciting anymore, is it?
You have a slave. They don't want to be freed, and they want to be your sex slave. Okay, but that lady is one weird lady. Or circumstances are close to that of the end of the world. But how that woman thinks that by sleeping with YOU out of wedlock, she's helping herself, I have no clue.
You have a slave. They want to be set free. You dont set them free and instead have sex with them. You have sinned and most likely, deserve to go to hell.
Now, what other scenarios are plaguing your mind such that you wish to assert the right to have sex with slaves you don't have and that you'd probably be arrested for having in the first place?
