I don't think he made any major blunder.

Well he dropped Youvraj at 97 that allowed him to compelte his century.
But yes i would prefer see him playing in pindi rather than Moin just because of his enthusiasitic appraoch. He kept well in second innings too.
I would go for Moin. I thought Kamran did ok but Moin is still a better keeper for me. Also I get the impression from the ODI matches that I have seen that Kamran is a good player of fast bowlers but I have no idea how he would play spin. Moin for me would probably handle kumble better. It's a big match and Moin's a big match player - not a good idea to take any risks. After this series is over hand the gloves to Akmal and see how he does.
I'll stick with Kamran for a while now (unless he performes really poor). He was good behind the wicket and performed Rashidly while catching the ball. All he need is to bat more Moinly

It was a game of high stakes and Kamran coped with it well. And even now he is better than Moin, keeping wise. And as Moin is in horrible form with the bat in the previuos test (his dismissal against Sachin was totally embarrassing), it would be better off to move on.
But Inzi and Miandad being conservative, i fear that Moin will get the nod if he is fit.
I htought Akmal was terrible with Kaneria's leg side drifts. But then again, Kaneria didn't bowl much in the match. It's a toss up. I like Moin as a sportsman but I may be biased towards Akmal since I havent seen much of him. I like the idea of grooming an attacking batsman / keeper for the 2007 WC. I say, stick with Akmal until he becomes a khatmal.

Yep he was getting up too early while keeping to Kaneria. But then again Moin isnt any better keeping wise and man he is out of sorts or what.
Moin struggled in the ODI's because he found it difficult to come in and start hitting straight away. Test matches are different and given time out in the middle to get in I think he's got more ability to deal with Kumble. Has anybody seen Akmal against leg spin? Does he play it well? Unless this is established it's a fair bet that Kumble will cancel out his batting.
I have seen Akmal bat and he is quite a capable player against spin but then again, there is quite a big difference between lahore spinners and Kumble.
Are we gonna play 'only' Kumble til the next WC?. Why select a keeper based on how he performs against one particular bowler or even a series. I believe a keeper to be a specialized position. He should be given a chance, groomed, and stick with.

We are going to be playing Kumble in the next match so it makes sense to play the keeper who can handle it best. Same principle that worked when we dropped Razzaq who was floundering against legspin and brought in Kamal who hammered the living $hit out of Kumble.
Like I said, after this series is over give the gloves to Kamran.
