Basically what has happened is this:
Pakistan grew snakes in its backyard and threw them at its neighbours house but those snakes are now biting Pakistan.

If these type of attacks were committed in the US,UK, etc, the CIA would be disbanded.
ISI officers are only interested in money and killing unarmed journalists.

9/11 is one attack, an admitted failure on the part of the CIA.
Now since then how many attacks in the US have there been since 9/11?
You know as well as anyone what the reaction to the CIA (using as an example) would be if militants were able to attack American's every week/month as they do in Pakistan.

Why did they not disband them after they had undeniable and 200% proof that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

I do not want to waste my time on a topic that has been thrashed a thousand times. Just google and help yourself understand about the forefathers of the Taliban and the role of some 'brotherly' countries in the creation of the Taliban.

While I agree with what you are saying a lot of snake charmers from ashores afar came and started looking after these snakes and using them for their various evil designs. I know it is difficult for some to fathom this but this is also as much true as your statement.
How could USA perceived to be Christian Crusader Infidels and India perceived to be Hindu Zionists make these Islamic Warrior Tribals want to kill their fellow Muslim brothers?
And why doesn't the Taliban fighting USA start attacking these Taliban who are fighting Pakistan? I mean how could both Taliban live side by side and are being backed by two different powers not want to fight each other?
A few weeks ago, the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban made a joint attack on Pakistani Military outposts killing scores of soldiers.
This is nothing more than a Frankeinstein situation.
Pakistan created and trained these guys to fight in Afghanistan and then Kashmir and now they have turned their guns on Pakistan when Pakistan send its Army into the Tribal areas in May 2004 and they are now ideologically driven stating that Democracy is against Islam and Pakistani Government is anti-Islamic and they want to replace the Pakistani constitution with the same extremist Sharia Law that was in Afghanistan before USA attacked in 2001.
Blaming foreigners is nothing more to divert blame from where it lies, which is Pakistan's Jihad Policies are an utter failure and it has not yielded one inch of Kashmir from India and now these guys have run amok.
Its time to stop viewing these guys assets to be used in a future war with India and treat them as a liability and destroy them by force.

Did I disagree with you? and before accusing me of viewing them as assets you need to read my posts on them and than come and comment on them. What is required is for you to stop viewing America and west as whiter than white and that they cant do anything wrong or illegal. Yeah right iraq and weapons of mass destruction should open your eyes. Why is that the whole TTP leadership including malvi Fazlullah are based in Afghanistan and the mighty Americans cant find them? maybe they dont want to or are actively supporting them to destabilise Pakistan.

The attack was stopped successfully and the militants sent to hell. How was this a failure? How many times in other countries have we heard that the plots were discovered yet the attacks went ahead. Ghar kee murghi daal baraber. By sending these animals to hell a point has been made unlike previous attacks where these animals were roaming around freely and it took security forces long time to regain control.
Come on dont rubbish them all the time. It is easy to sit on a computer keyboard and criticise.
well said. this was certainly not a failure. they did what they had to, eliminated all of them. the security arrangements which were consisted of four tiers were not only able to stop the terrorists on the 2nd tier, but also killed them all. it shows they were alert in case of any possible attack.

Panetta has a habit of coming up with stupid statements every now and then. , right after the news broke, media started this negative propoganda against Pakistan, that these bases are housing nuclear weapons, its funny because many times, IAEA agency and other global powers have said it, Pakistan nukes are safe. they all need to get a life.!

But I simply do not buy this argument that USA is supporting the TTP. I mean they are attacking their Supply Convoys on a daily basis. A US Drone took out the leader of the TTP, Meshud in Summer 2010. In 2010, a TTP suicide bomber killed 7 CIA agents trying to find Bin Laden. And you mean to tell me that these two are allies?
The TTP formed in 2007 and since Lal Masjid has waged a brutal terrorist campaign in Pakistan. Their main power base is North Waziristan which is not under Pakistani control but US has hammered that area with drone strikes. There might be some TTP people in Afghanistan because the border is un-defined.
A de-stabilized Pakistan would be a global nightmare. No one wants to see that happen.

Why cant you believe that America is supporting the TTP. it is your prerogative but doesn't mean it is right. It was the Americans who recently divided taliban into good Taliban and bad Taliban. It was the American who recently removed the name of the head of taliban Mullah Omar from the most wanted list. Why? Has Mullah Omar turned angel all of a sudden? The taliban attacking them accoording to them is the Haqqani group and they blame Pakistan for it. However maybe TTP is part of the good taliban they always talk about.
