No one is saying to actually practical try what is Kama-Sutra, it is just for information purposes.

I question , I reason , I study , I read and I learn Quran and hadees and it is all because Quran and hadees encourages us to question , reason , study , read and learn Quran and hadees.

Some of the examples for further research:
1) Don't have sex with menstruating women ** 2:222
2) Have sex with your women whenever, however, and as often as you like. **2:223
**3) "She bolted the doors and said: Come!" **12:23
4) Allah will reward believing men with "fair ones" (beautiful women) in heaven. 55:71-72
And none of them matches the contents of Kama sutra.

The Mallanaga Vatsyayana’s Kama Sutra has 1250 verses, distributed in 36 chapters, which are further organized into 7 parts. According to both the Burton and Doniger translations, the contents of the book are structured into 7 parts like the following:
- Introductory Chapters on contents of the book, three aims and priorities of life, the acquisition of knowledge, conduct of the well-bred townsman, reflections on intermediaries who assist the lover in his enterprises (5 chapters). 2. On sexual union Chapters on stimulation of desire, types of embraces, caressing and kisses, marking with nails, biting and marking with teeth, on copulation (positions), slapping by hand and corresponding moaning, virile behavior in women, superior coition and oral sex, preludes and conclusions to the game of love. It describes 64 types of sexual acts (10 chapters).

I think OK if studied as anthropology not OK if used as pornography or looked at as a 'religious' text which it is for Hindus. I don't know if Pornography is haram for married people in Islam though.

offcourse you guys need to be informed, you are just as good as animals if you only follow what comes naturally.
I ve heard that this book focuses on womens needs also, which can be very good for desi men who think sex is all about the man and women who think its to serve their husbands or women who use it to get their way.
Anyways, you guys should watch this oprah show about sex, very informing.
