The book, has more than one dimension.. it's not a dirty book it emphasizes on a whole lot more besides "62" positions. They treat it like an art.. they have detailed explanations of why and how's.. it can't be compared to what Islam suggests..

I have not read kama sutra yet that is why I am asking here. I read Quran every day . Alhumdulilah . I do not read Quran just for the sake of reading , I read it for guidance. I try to understand the message in it , I question many things in it and then I try to find answers. This thread is also part of that quest for understanding my religion.
I think either you are under the influence of some kath mullah and do not have the understanding of religion or it is your mission to bring all the other Muslims down and prove that you are holier than every other Muslim in the world.

I took the discussion further just to show what could happen if one engages in too much 'pornography' and leaves the life-partner in bed waiting for other partner to do 'something' meaningful and real. Its a bitter reality that many men are engaged in pornography (most likely on internet ). And they may even read the book as a way of living in fantasy world while leaving their wives 'unsatisfied'.
On the other hand women/wives may expect men to act in the way described in the book and feel disappointed if husband cannot do exactly as it is described in the book.
