Re: Justice Bhagwandas as NAB chairman?

Bhagwandas ineligible for NAB post**
ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition Syed Khursheed Shah had apparently tried to outclass Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by recommending the name of Justice (R) Rana Bhagwandas as the new NAB chief, but despite his parliamentary experience and seniority he has erred, as the reputed judge is ineligible for the post of chairman NAB.
Rana Bhagwandas, who completed his term as chairman FPSC last year, cannot hold any office in the service of Pakistan after his retirement from the FPSC under the FPSC law.Section 5 of the FPSC law says: “Ineligibility for further employment: On ceasing to hold office, a member (including chairman) shall not be eligible for further employment in the service of Pakistan.”
Justice Bhagwandas cannot be hired in the service of Pakistan anymore because of legal reasons. I hope now this clause of the FPSC is not turned into another religious debate in this thread. Grow up guys.
I wonder while nominating Justice saheb for this post, PPP didn’t know about this clause? hard to believe, since they have appointed at least 2 (may be more) NAB Chairmen in their recent tenure of govt
