You’d be surprised what people will want to talk about, they probly just haven’t brought it up because they didn’tthink it’s relevant to you. But if you did ask people i’m sure they’ll tell you their views, it’s not exactly a taboo subject so i don’t see why not. The thing about caste is that its a very cultural issue, and not so much an islamic one, that’s all.
Are you planning to meet his relatives in Pakistan? Or are they somewhere else?
