As I know these Nazims were replacement for City Mayers! and Deputy Commissioner’s post still exists. :rolleyes: You guys are really living in Pakistan or in Chechon ke malyan :rolleyes:

I still don’t get what Toba Taik Singh did for Pakistan or Punjab :confused: The city was named after a sardaar (probably a landlord) and this was someone else in mental hospital and his nick name was Toba Taik Singh. He just loved his lands, I don’t think the place was named after him because he was asking for the place himself.

shikra tum wese hee pagal ho, naam se kya hota hai. Tumhain aaj tak kuch samajh aaya hai jo yeh samajh ae ga. toba tyek singh ka naam lete lete woh pagal gir gaya tha jo ke kabhee na sota tha na baithta tha, he used to stand on his feet all day and night long and finally when they sent all the mentally ill ppl to their home lands, he was suppose to be heading for india, but he found out that toba tyek singh was in pakistan and that guy died on the border and the border was named after toba tyek singh. No one knows who he was or what he did, but this guy name was bush singh but he was infatuated with toba tyek singh for some reason and used to talk about him all the time.

Dada abba, no so much into cafe stuff anymore. Proly was a phase i went through :D now I am more into Comp section. Yeah, I am driving them nuts now :D glad to hear that u r doing well, so whatz new ???

AN I know, its quiet nice to read something like this after a while. Although I never read Krishan Chander, but comparing to other things I used to read few yrs back. It seemed quiet nice, held my attention :D so watz up how is ur dushman now ;)

Was it bush sing or Bishan sing? :konfused: And the city toba taik singh is not at the border, it’s in the center of Pakistan. So which border was named after him? :confused: Go read the story again.

  1. The landlord (pagal in jail who kept asking about toba taik singh) was from there.
  2. If toba taik sing was named after him because he died at the border, how come he was asking about the city himself :confused:

You are such a whiz eh :p, I read bush not bishan singh. He didn’t know where that guy was, it was named because he used ask about that guy.
