Inside news. Well I have known this for a while. Junoon recorded a new song for the Cricket World cup coming up. I got a little doze of the song and it sounds great. It should be released sometime in January with a video!

Who can be better than Junoon for an inspirational WC song, Jazba Junoon was classic in 1996!
If you guys liked Jazba e junoon. You will love the new songs! I wont give out out the name of the song yet.
Junoon will be shooting for the video of the song right after they return to Pakistan after the Last concert in UK which also raps up the "passion for peace" world tour of Junoon which was to promote "daur e Junoon"
Junoon will be back in the Us in Spring and will launch there English album hopefully internationally....
if jazba-e-junoon is any indication, the new song will be superb.
But it's the video i'm worried about. Pak pop videos have certainly technologically advanced, if this year's videos are any indication. Junoon's videos aren't good most of the time. I just hope this one is at the level of the new Haroon's video, Mehbooba, visually atleast.

just a fact to mention, when Junoon sang the Jazba-E-junoon song Pak lost in the Quarter-finals of the world-cup, and when they didnt have any song in '99 world cup so they went till he final, so just hope for the best with the Junoon song and the Pakistan team!!!

I dont attend every concert in the US. I wish I could. The members of Junoon are personal friends and I have happened to work with them. So I get my junoon info first hand from the band...

Haha that song was off the Pepsi World Cup 99 Album. Besides, Junaid sung a song, Fakhir, Awaz, Hadiqa, etc.
The official Pakistan World Cup song was sung by some no name dude. I still remember people posted the link of the video on here at the time. (It was a link supported by Cricinfo).
Anyways, I so can't wait for Junoon's latest song, that too a World Cup one!!! Woo hoo!
