there are no rights like the western world, things change pretty rapidly (rent etc), not a very stable place, its a developing country so keep that mind - that also means many new companies are opening up. Also Dubai is a very materialistic society, a lot of rich people everywhere. If you are flexible enough to move to a new country, then I think you are flexible enough to get used to living in Dubai.
