Re: Jinnah: Q & A
I also said claim…and a claim with some historical backing. You did not deny Mohd Ghaznavi type characters and their plunder in India. So hindu temple claim on babri mosque place is not very far fetched.
And yes, Supreme court of India appointed histprical finding committe for this purpose, and they did not find any substance in the claim.
But the principle remains the same: If a mosque is built on temple, it should be destroyed, and vice versa.
Regarding Ahmedis…We r talking about mosques and temples, not human beings. Ahmedis, shias and hindus can claim islam, but as long as they r peaceful, state has no right to deny them freedom of worship.
Re: Jinnah: Q & A
i thought Jinnah made Taj Mahal for his ailing wife.
Re: If Jinnah had lived...
These suggestions appear to be from the realm of the obsurd. Jinnah was a keen advocate of the fact that Muslims and HIndus are 2 different peoples, two different nations who are better off not living together. Take for example the other thread where Lostsoul lambasts Muslim emperors of India. The heros of our community are the villans of yours. Such a set up is not ideal, and as the minority everytime life flares up, its going to be 3000 Muslims who are burned alive!
I doubt he would have played for reunification. And as for "he had become disappointed" with what Pakistan had become, on 9/11/48-Pakistan had become nothing! It was literally just born, a year old.
No, Jinnah I can say with some certainty had not thrown in the towel on Pakistan so early. This seems to be little more then an Indian wet dream.
I do however feel that a prolonged life on this Earth would have seen Pakistan develop far more quickly into a stable political state (I wont throw my lot in here and say a stable democracy) and a secular nation, certainly with respect to federal law.
Re: Jinnah: Q & A
Again, a stupid precedent. Why not just leave it be! By destroying the mosque, you cannot get the alleged temple back (or vice versa)…so why not just move on!
I feel, and this is a guess, that you are a Hindu right winger. Certainly to some extent, as you try endlessly to defame Muslim rulers of India (we won India in fair battle in those times), and defend Hindu crimes such as Babri and Gurjat as either
(a) justified or (b) unique to the circumstances of the situation.
Re: If Jinnah had lived...
If muslims and hindus were so different, then y Jinnah felt that difference personally? What was he doing that was so aligned with islamic culture? Someone was forcing him to marry a parsi girl? or eat pork? or not say prayers? Rreally, who was stopping Jinnah from being a good muslim?
Instead of answering these valid questions, u start ad hominem attack on me. if u like Mehmood Ghaznavi (whom i attacked), y not u provide some historical facts to prove he was a good man?
Re: If Jinnah had lived…
Jinnah wanting reunification lol very amusing I must say ![]()
Re: If Jinnah had lived…
Being disappointed from leadership and being disappointed from what you created is a different thing. Can you provide link to his speeches where he was disappointed with Pakistan and wanted reunification with India. That is the most funny thing you guys ever came up with.
He did not join congress? No wonder you dont know anything about this person. keep dreaming.
Re: If Jinnah had lived…
This is not, and never was, abt Jinnah’s personal convictions with regard to Islam. It was about creating a society in which Muslims would be free from persecution. This was simply not vaible with only 15% of the populace. We would always get the short end of the straw.
Jinnah was wise enough to realize that the safety of India’s Muslims rested in an independant state. Every so often you prove him right. Gujrat, the world known human rights abuses in Kashmir…
Re: If Jinnah had lived…
moron, do u understand what uncorroborated means?
And he left congress in mid 30s. Quite a long time ago, when he was so singing along hindu-muslim brotherhood.
Jinnah was a low level player in Congress, even Molana Azad had a bigger profile (thats y Jinnah used to disparage him as “show boy” in congress). He wanted a role, that congres could not give him. Congress was socialist, more aliged with nationalist element. Jinnah was “wannabe” white man. His values never matched with secular and poor-aliged values of congress, spiritually led by bapu. You cant have a suite wearing guy sit on floor with 20 pajama-kurta wearing guys much senior and better intellectual persons. Jinnah’s selling point was an educated muslim man known to and respected by white men in UK and India. Congress wanted muslim representation in Congress, so that it doesnt look like a hindu majority party. They had Azad, but not Jinnah type flamboyant personality, but I guess they never wanted to compromise their socialist and secular agenda by hiring a biggot.
Re: If Jinnah had lived…
I will respond later, but untill then here is an assignment for you. When did jinnah leave congress?
Please dont make up crap about the great guy. It is just making you look stupid.
Re: If Jinnah had lived…
If Jinnah had lived he would look like siht..all crinkly and crap…ewww :yukh:
Re: Jinnah: Q & A
enough on the mosque...
has anyone been lucky enuff to have a grand parent or an old acquaintance who had the good fortune of meeting Mr Jinnah...?
lets share some stories with personal touches...to learn abt the man...
Re: Jinnah: Q & A
So with the same token, jews should not leave occupied palestinian lands? y destroy their houses and industries thre?
What happned in Gujrat is a crime. What ghaznavi did was a crime. But what happened in Babri, is not.
Again, dont get personal. Try to be civilized and stop personal attacks. Show to us that u can engage in rational discussion like an educated person.
Re: If Jinnah had lived...
as if he looked like a stud in his life.. nehru looked smarter, even though he was a bigger scoundrel
Re: Jinnah: Q & A

Re: Jinnah: Q & A
^^ what double standards.. jab khud ka mulk mil raha tha to unke peeche poonch hila kar bhag rahe the, ab unke jaane ke baad badtameezi kar rahe ho.. talk about someone being a pakistani patriot (sitting in the uk, that is)
