Thats awesome hmmna...see! Arent u glad u stuck to it.... More intense means more weight loss.... Ure body needs to move up on the workout scale so u conti ue to lose weight. Weeheeee!

hey khawateen i caught a bug and had very high fever. had to stop for few days. still recovering but trying my best to keep on it.

How are you finding the workouts in general Hmmna? Are they challenging enough? Do they require you to use any equipments?

My work has a gym and I have been going but I'm find it harder each day to motivate myself enough to go down there and do the same old machine workout.

For the past week, I have been using my brother's P-90x cardio and Billy Banks Bootcamp workout dvds. I have actually been enjoying working out using them. But I don't want to repeat the same workout everyday.

I have heard really good things about JM's workout dvds.

tea1234 i am getting tired of seeing Jillians face so i am becoming bored too. the workout is quite challenging and actually good while you are doing it. I have had a lot of knee issues with the workout but not everyone has. oh and also jillian is very annoying in this dvd she is much more tolerable in the shred.

week 1 and 2 are easier in ripped week 3 is quite brutal

i have found a channel on youtube fitnessblender. they have loads of very easy to follow exercise videos. i am in the shred.start them soon mix and match.

That's what I was thinking. Youtube has enough videos to change up the routine. It even has Jillian's videos and many others. I am just thinking of making a playlist like week1 videos then week 2 vidos and using that as my workout plan. I would get bored too by looking at the same face everyday lol. By the way try Billy Bank's. I really like using his videos for workouts.

i'm having the same problem! it's actually getting worse day by day and i've never had this problem only since i have started the JD exercise plan.

i'm on level 3 and i stopped after my doctor advised me to give my knee a rest. he said it might be due to improper stretching! he's referred me to the orthopedic so i'm waiting for my referral letter now.

i don't in any way blame JD's videos - as i think they're great. i think maybe i wasn't stretching properly.

I blame the Jillian DVDs for my knees issues. She doesn't explain form properly and the warm up and cool down are rubbish. I do a lot more stretching after her DVD. If she spent a bit more time on form it would not cause such problems.

Hmmna, give Billy Banks Tae Bo a try. Just search "cardio" on youtube and his workout shows up. I am liking this for now. I am trying to building up my fitness level and then I will start with Insanity.
There are days when I just get super bored of these dvd work outs and going to the gym. On those days I just dance lol.

just saw this thread.. i am on day 5 of week 3.. and all the time i am doing this i am cursing her... its so difficult but so worth it... i have not whieghed myself after starting this exercise... i will just weight myself at the end, but i feels so toned and the best thing is that my arms have started looking toned and i have lost fat from upper arms.. but i dotn see much effect on my tummy... may be an inch...

I need HELP! I am 70kgs, 5-3, hopelessly out of shape :( Should I ease myself into it this JM workout by first brisk walking and doing lighter exercise? I tried Turbo Fire but just can't make myself to do more than ten mins of any class, my lungs scream for air, throat gets parched etc and i HAVE to stop. I desperately need to shed the extra baggage and get back to shape. My goal is to reach 60kgs max by Aug 13.
