If you are a fan of a shred then this is a DVD you can follow. It follows the same format of 3:2:1 and three circuits. 3 minutes strength 2 min cardio and 1 min abs.
all in all 20 min of sweat and tears. It works you very hard but each move lasts for only 30 sec so your suffering is short lived. And it has 4 workouts, you do each one for 5-6 days and take a day off (I am doing 6). I prefer this to the 10 days of shred as that seemed endless.
the workout is supposed to get harder each week but hopefully as your stamina increases it would be doable. Also each workout is completely different from the previous one so you won’t get bored repeating the same moves.
There is an eating plan with this DVD as well which can be found on the web.
Also just want to add that if you really want to lose a lot of weight you should add some more exercise with this, cz no matter how hard it pushes you it’s still only 20 min.
Week 1 day 1:
I really attacked it today. Since I have just finished the shred I was able to keep up ok but boy oh boy was it hard.
I have set up my routine as 30 min Pilates in the morning, ripped in 30 mid morning and then a workout from the fitness blender channel on YouTube in the evening.

hmm.. hmna.. on a day off... when u have time.. prep a lot of protein for yourself.. marinade drumsticks, thighs, breasts.. get smoked salmon etc... steaks... get lots of fruits.. veggies... if u are lazy.. get frozen ones.. even a wok mix...
whenever u feel hungry.. just bake or saute ... simple as that. u wont gain from eating protein... like u would from other food categories like carbs. if u will.. it will be muscle. faster weight loss.
this always helps me from eating crap.. prepping my food so i know i have an option avaialble to me when the hunger pangs hit.

The protein idea is awesome. do you have idea for a marinade and shd i freeze them after marinading? i am very prone to bingeing so it would be great to stock up with protein as i dnt binge on that.

marinade in anything u like... i mix whatevr i have on hand... these days i have nandos marinades :D do u get that there?
satay sauce? bbq ? if nothing... man i just throw spices together and pray to god it turns out good haha... just saute for a bit and then throw in oven.. work out.. and its ready when u are done. mm.
and yes.. freeze them after marinading.. if u are bying frozen and then marinading.. dont freeze again... buy small packs of frozen.. marinade... and then finish in the week.
i always buy fresh.. cuz i know i cant possibly have so much meat.
I've been making vegetables (frozen kind) just using some salt,black pepper and garlic powder. If you want you can throw in other spices. I eat this with a small salad plus dressing, plus some roti or toast and this meal is well within 250 calories. You can add baked chicken or some daal. It's tasty, give it a try.
i was very sore today but pushed through it. well lunges and side lunges are such a pain and i am substituting then for other moves as they dont agree with my knees.
am very happy that 3 more days of week 1 and i get a day off :)
working out 2-3 times a day is hard but i m gna try my best.

I have 2 weeks...I haven't worked out in 2 days damnit. Morrow I will allow JM to do as she pleases with me.. I hope she makes it hurt...cuz I feel naughty!

What motivates me is coming here to update... Sounds gay...Lekin showing off mein bhi apna ek maza hai lol.
the cardio in this week is my fav esp the fast feet and running man. and because jillian is so annoying i push myself extra hard to drown her voice. i tried slowing the volume down but i missed the cues for the next move so unfortunately i have to suffer through.
my stretching is finally paying off. my muscles are easing into it. i would recommend good stretches to everyone doing jillian. they are vital imo

I love this work out. So far it’s very doable but apparently it’s gna go insane in week 3 hmm well we will see.
when you exercise how do you make time for other things in your life? I being a lazy ass and a serial procrastinator can’t manage to do much else.
im so excited to start this in 2 weeks... cant wait!
lol... ever since i started to work out... i schedule my day around it and find that i am making time for everything and doing things properly... before my life was a mess... and so very lazy...even washing my face was a chore!
hint: dont sit down. after your work out..ofcourse u will shower... after that.. just get cracking with whatever needs to be done.
