Re: Jewish/Muslim relations through history - Split from Fate of Syria
Dear Kaleem, In last five years some incidents were carried out by some lost souls terrorists, who claimed to be Muslims. These are your words.
What Islamic media and intelligentsia propagate about these incidents took place in last five years is my question.
Islamic media and intelligentsia has simultaneously created a myth all over the world that these terror attacks were not carried out by Muslims and there was always a design behind these incidents.
Do you understand the issue? Islamic media has created a myth about the incidents that took place in just last five years, what to say about centuries old myths?
If you have grievances about Gujarat and Kashmir, we can discuss if it is not off the topic.
Re: Jewish/Muslim relations through history - Split from Fate of Syria
anjjan my friend, thank you for making my case for me. This is a classic example of damned if you do and damned if you dont. Mostly populace here cries about Muslims not vocal enough against these terrorists thugs and when we do people like you come along who say that this is a myth.
You can call it whatever you wish, but let me just say that we agree to disagree. You can believe it to be a myth and I will continue believing that history recorded over (by many different scholars) is factual and the truth.
Re: Jewish/Muslim relations through history - Split from Fate of Syria
No, Mr Kaleem, I don’t agree to disagree. Majority of Muslims in Arab countries, and in many South Asian countries believe that either Jews or CIA were behind the 9/11 massacre. They are under influence of propaganda deliberately carried out by your media and intelligentsia.
It marginalizes your cries against terrorists. When all efforts from your side are made to create a ‘myth’ about this five year old history, I think in fact such efforts are the greatest support to terrorists.
You are welcome to escape!
Re: Jewish/Muslim relations through history - Split from Fate of Syria
Dear Kaleem and Anjjan Please stop calling each other 'dear' it sounds awfully gayish in a manly forum such as WA.
Can Jews live amongst Muslims, yes, can they live amongst Arabs, No. Jews lived peacefully in Yugoslavia with muslims. Jews have always had issues with arabs starting from the discrepency of Abe's son Ishmael. And we all know how tribal customs are? it's been going on.
But Jews will never be ruled by Muslims in Israel.
Re: Jewish/Muslim relations through history - Split from Fate of Syria
Anjjan, yeah that is right. Muslims control most of the world’s media outlets and have been busy spreading rumors and myths all around the world. You have to be very careful when dealing with Muslims. BTW, when you registered on this website (run by muslims), I hope you did not use your real e-mail address. They might use it to spread rumors and myths about you.
P.S. I did not escape the argument, but you sound (read like a) a broken record with no information to back up your claims and it is counterproductive to argue with yoy.
Peace.
Re: Jewish/Muslim relations through history - Split from Fate of Syria
Well I wouldn't pin my hopes on that CIA report that was floating around few months back on GS. Hypothetically speaking it can happen in our lifetime as well, it's all about ideal conditions and creating them.
Re: Jewish/Muslim relations through history - Split from Fate of Syria
Dear Mr Kaleem, Do you remember words of Tony Blair sometime in 2002 regarding 9/11. ‘Islam is a peaceful religion’ He said.
What do you think? He was really serious? Or he has studied or learnt Islam?
Are you sure that he was not trying to appease Muslims?
May be it is my continuing broken record, but if possible, try to apply rational thinking instead of picking up from history only whatever is written in your praises.
“Before the twentieth century, the myth of Islamic tolerance had no currency. It is largely a modern creation. The West's obfuscation was a result of the political and cultural difficulties of colonialism. France had North Africa, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, and Lebanon after World War I. England had a huge Islamic population in India and also in Egypt and Sudan, Iraq and Palestine. They didn't want to confront this population. They didn't want to protect the Christian minorities in these lands because they wanted to have an economically beneficial pro-Arab, pro-Islamic policy.”
Critisizm ir really counterproductive in your case.
Thanks for a nice discussion!
Re: Jewish/Muslim relations through history - Split from Fate of Syria
mate maybe u need to just study islam as a religion as opposed to studying criticism on islam…Try to do some real research on Islam as a religion…Remember there is a difference b/w religion and individuals follwing it…if some people have not followed islam dosnt mean islam is bad or Islam as a religion has no tolerance
..if it says somewhere in quran or prophet’s teachings that islam has no tolerance as a religion than we will talk…
Re: Jewish/Muslim relations through history - Split from Fate of Syria
Frankly I dont find any point in continuing this discussion. When you teach your childeren at Madrisa that, ‘there is no God other than Allah…or he who rejects the Ayats is so and so…or all of them are non-beleivers’ Quotes Quran,
What do you think, you teach them tolerance towards non-Muslims or…
Re: Jewish/Muslim relations through history - Split from Fate of Syria
anjjan, "Their is no God other than Allah" is a basic tenant of Islam and is the truth. You can choose to believe otherwise,so be it. Just take your whining somewhere else.
