Bringing the thread back to it's original quest....
PyariCgudia actually asked one of the better questions on Christianity in a long time on this forum namely "what was the purpose of changing the bible verses to say that Jesus is the SON of God?".
The question obviously immediately assumes that the Bible was changed on this issue. If the assumption is incorrect, some very serious implications will exist for any non-Christian religion! No-one took up on that.
The assumption also negates the issue of proving that the changes did take place, something not very easy to proof. I accept though that the assumption is necessary in order to start a debate on the issue.
If the Bible was changed in order to incorporate the doctrine that Jesus is the Son of God, then it most definitely should go down as the biggest scam/hoax ever in the history of humankind. Who could benefit from it? I don't know and would personally like to hear more debate on the issue.
