So, exactly what was the purpose of changing the bible verses to say that Jesus is the SON of God?
The theory is that the bible and torah and other religious books were REAL revelations that eventually got corrupted and changed. And so the verse that says Jesus is the SON of God is amongst those, because it couldn’t have been there originally if the truth = Jesus is NOT the son of God.
But like most things in the world, the basis is almost always political and economical. What would have been the rationale for someone to have made this corruption to the Bible? Its not like some monk was copying the 100th copy of it, and slipped and threw in the word “Son”.
possibly to distinguish themselves from jews instead of being regarded as just another sect. and then theres having to explain the crucifixion, in order to dispel the idea that he could be executed like a common criminal, make him into a god.
People don't wake up one morning and say "I'm going to be corrupt just for craps and giggles". There's usually some catalyst behind someone's negative actions.
There are several sexually explicit stories and descriptions. And there is no way that is the work of God especially if it is meant for people of all ages, & cultures.

anyway your trying to ascertain the motives of anonymous scribes 2000 years later, its going to be all speculation. that even if we accept that the original meaning of the word "Son" as intended by the scribes was Son and not Friend, which was one of the first theological arguments in Christianity.
Oh so at one point, it was argued whether the term now used for "son" actually meant son or friend?

You asked me what i meant, and I answered, next time, don't ask if you don't want to know, and in the Quran sex is not addressed like it is in the Bible, where sexual intercourse is described, and pedophilia as well as loose women are also mentioned and described, and not neccessarily to denounce them. I mentioned this because it shows not just on the Jesus subject that Bible seems to be corrupted and there seems to be no reason to why they would include or alter things like this.

Bible was changed by Jews as Jesus Christ was sent to them. They didnot follow him and the Bible but they manipulated it for the other people. Just to spoil the messege revealed by him.
There was a group within the early Church that did not believe him to be the Son of God.. But I believe it was Constantine who had all the head of the Church assemble and decide once and for all at the Counsil of Nisaea.. The verdict came that he was the son of god and thus this was the official stnace of the Church. This I suppose is based on what Jesus said himself or what other said of him. This includes the Angel Gabriel as he presented himself to Mary.
I think all this could have been a misunderstanding or misinterpretation.
The christians I know do not think of him as literal son of God. but looks like for political gain under the athourity of Constantine the whole thing was formulated. I asked my friends about the concept of trinity. And was explained that it's a dogma. No explaination.
The word son was used in bible for friend/people etc., like;
Luke:3:38 “…**Adam **which was the Son of God.”
Exodus 4:22 “Israel is my son even my first born.”
Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the spirit of God are called sons of God,"
Matthew 5:9 "Blessed are the peace-makers for they shall be called sons of God."
I think after the death of Isa as, his followers were in disarray, the person whom they thought was to bring about a revolution was no longer present and “apparently” was killed on cross. To make sense of this all, they came up with this theory that he was son of God who’s crucifixion was to for salvation of mankind.
It doesn't take a rocket science to figure out that if I'm trying to find the POLITICAL reasons for wanting to make a change in the Bible, that obviously I don't think or even want to think that Jesus is the son of God.
