I guess the above two paragraphs describe why they made a movie out of it.
How did those around them know their guns had blanks in them...and why would they even have blanks with them, doesn't add up.
Oh thank God this is finally leaking!! I've been getting impatient with this secret :D Yeah UTD, these articles took some liberties themselves.. but overall the story is pretty accurate. I'm surprised no one has talked about Hudson from that other bunch of POWs yet? He was the only one worth half a damn.. killed 7 Iraqis (soldiers firing at them) while Hernandez was brushing the twinkie wrappers off his weapon (said it jammed? ha!) and Johnson was realizing the hard way that you don't hang your leg out the door...
It was pretty pathetic of us to decide on this to be the story we play up... with so many better ones to choose from!

Anyway, NBC is making a movie on this "jessica". Now they should cancel this whole thing, cause she is a fake "hero".

I would’nt be even a bit surprised if Saddam Hussein is actually living on a US Army base somewhere in New Mexico. Likely he will periodically release video and cassette tapes encouraging Iraqi resistance to the Americans. As long as they have both him and Osama as an excuse the Americans have free reign in a lot of the world.
Where was Steven Spielberg when all this happened?

When your stinkin ass is all you have left then you protect it with all your might. Everything else in US is either gone or on its way downhill. So now they are bouncing around like thugs to get others resources and at the same time demonizing other leaders as they try to promote their own "gooder" leader. All ruthless tactics and propaganda.
Dang! I was looking forward to Jessica Lynch movie...LOL.. Oh well there will be another GI Jane sooner or latter.
