Jeans

How do you find the perfect jeans…what do you look for when buying em…

If you wear the wrong ones they can make you look really bad.

so how do u fidn ones that look good..

some are too long…some too tight…some too short

soo…

I really like guess jeans, they have an amazing fit..but they do tend to be like an inch longer than i need them to be.

dont link me to any other threads please.

Re: Jeans

I like Express/Gap/Charlotte russe jeans
I haven’t shopped at anywhere else yet… the fit of the gap/express ones is great, but Gap doesn’t make skinny jeans..i love skinnies.
But i gotta say, the best quality oens i’ve had are from charlotte Russe. They’ve lasted me a good 18 months…whereas the gap/express ones lasted less than a year.

Only problem with all these jeans…even the shortest sizes tend to be too long on me.

^Express has got some nice dress pants (pricey though). Haven't tried their jeans though.

It depends on what you like. Some like really tight form hugging jeans and others prefer something a bit looser.....but not baggy. I used to wear light blue denim but now I prefer dark blue denim better. I like dark blue trouser jeans as well.

Re: Jeans

RV....walmart has some nice jeans too...

Re: Jeans

Yeah I get what you mean. I've seen ladies wearing jeans that are wayy too tight around their hips and it just doesn't look nice, they should find something looser around the bum and hip area.

I like my baggy jeans, they're loose and comfortable...really flexible too. Skinny jeans are good too, especially if you wear a nice top and some heels. Then again, skinny jeans aren't for everyone...I think if you're stick think s.j's don't look good...you need to have some meat on your legs for them to rock.

Their dress pants are awesome quality, if you like them, you should pick them up when they're on sale. Last few years express has been having alot of sales every few months. definitely worth a look IMO.

I hate baggy jeans. I know it sonds kind of counterproductive but I'm on the larger side and I feel baggy or loose jeans make me look much bigger than I really am.

^I also like their blouses (the full-sleeve collar shirt one). They're fitted and great for professional wear. I know that they have sales on jeans sometimes. I'll have to check them out one day.

I don't like em baggy...but then I don't like skin tight either....cuz during days when you have your're bloated (PMS)....they can get even more tight. So a little bit of room is good.

Try dark denim....that is very slimming compared to lighter colored jeans. And also dress pants with the vertical stripes (if you like them)....create the illusion of length and are slimming as well.

Re: Jeans

Okay, I dont have a big butt but I am on the curvier side. Would skinny jeans look nice on me? :(

Ive always wanted to try them but sooo scared of being one of those girls that wears clothing NOT right for her body. So, I stick to safe things like dark jeans with slightly flared/straight legs. Flat front and pockets and minimal buttons.

Re: Jeans

for me, it was always Guess Jeans .... ufff, they fit so well and made me look good!!!! unfortunately, the last time i was there, everything was in a new style, a.k.a. "ultra low rise". :(

:( :( :( :(

They didn't look right on me anymore. I searched and searched and searched and couldn't find another pair that looked good - I went in every store, literally.

I settled on a pair by DKNY, but you know what? They don't fit right. They are too loose and I want a more fitted look. :(

I'm curvy, so I can't even wear skinny jeans. They don't even go past my knees. :(

Walmart.com: Apparel: Women: Bottoms

Re: Jeans

Okay, I dont have a big tidd but I am on the bulgier side. Would lose fit jeans look nice on me? :(

Re: Jeans

^you should try skinny jeans :)

Shouldn’t you ask Nikki that? :hmmm: I mean she sees you everyday. Wow…do guys really do that? Usually it’s the wife who says, “Honey do you think I look fat in this?” Very rarely do you hear a guy ask his wife, “Does this tie make my thighs look bigger?” Not that you’re asking that.

But…yeah…ask Niksik.

Now if you want an opinion from a complete stranger who hasn’t seen you, then methinks looser fitting jeans would look best. Definitely stay away from the skinny jean :stuck_out_tongue:

:smack: I was just pulling Reha’s leg .. you guys really know how to make batangaR of baat.

:hayaa:

fainting

Re: Jeans

i feel stumpy in jeans.

solutions, girls? edit: and TLK?

thanks for your advice, i am reading btwww.

TLK…I’m guessing that Nikki is fainting because she thinks that the words, “I don’t have a big tidd but I’m on the bulgier side” are an understatement. :cb:

Either that…or she’s surprised by your sudden display of vanity.

Hmmm…I think i’ll go with the former hypothesis. :stuck_out_tongue:

Reha, I think skinny jeans look great on curvy girls as long as you wear it with a long top. I only wear my skinny's with a long top, I think it looks really cute!

Re: Jeans

^i dont think soo...
