I think it is human nature. But there are ways to avoid this situation- for instance, the more we make our private lives public and share it with the REST of the world, then obviously your bound to come across some bad apples as well. But if we try to share our happiness with only people who we know genuinely care for us, then it should not be an issue.
So instead of looking at things the way like why is it he/she jealous of me? I'd rather look at it this way - Why am I even giving this individual an opportunity to even get to know about my joyous moments, as they certainly don't deserve it.
Keep things personal, keep it low-profile.
