Jealousy

would you get jealous if your husband/wife or fiance talks to other girls/guys on MSN and Facebook? Especially if they are really close with one or two particular ones?

Re: Jealousy

Nah

Re: Jealousy

are you engaged etc?

Re: Jealousy

Depends...I think a girl will know if her man can or cannot be trusted.

If he is all about you...chances are you wont care what he does.

If he isnt...you will have a problem.

Thats my take on it.

Re: Jealousy

Well if my husban/boyfriend was talking to other girls, even if it's justa hi or hello..i wud be sooooooooooo jealous. Im the jealous kinda person. Its not really about trust but u never know, the girl on the other end might not be trustworthy. So yeah i wud make sure that he deletes/blocks other girls whom i wudnt know...........

Re: Jealousy

Not really. You should be able to trust your spouse/fiancee. As long as its not prolonged talking, and he/she is giving more time to their friend rather then their Significant other... then that can be a problem

Re: Jealousy

Yeah but u never know wat is on the other girl's mind rite????

Re: Jealousy

No you can not know what's on the other girl's mind, however if you trust your spouse, you won't worry about that. I mean what if the girl's at work are after him...I mean you can't be worried about every female he interacts with. Unless she is obviously shady, then that's another story.

nope, azaad panchi :dhimpak:

Re: Jealousy

Yeah i guess that's true....but im of the opinion that guys/men r not 2 be trusted!!!!!!
You can never find out what is going on in their mind!!!

Re: Jealousy

Re: Jealousy

Re: Jealousy

oh ok......lols!!!!

Re: Jealousy

forget jealousy, why even talk to a non-mehram women unless it is only for important matters. I cannot believe I'm hearing people saying here No. My eyes are bleeding. Where have we come to?

Would our Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (saw) talk to other women execept his wives? Would he? You say No? Then it also a big NO for you and your Wife!!! Mark my words, don't call Allah's wrath upon yourself. The Satan is waiting left, right, above, below.

Don't tell me that you won't cross the boundaries, because you haven't seen the future and Allah knows best. I'm only warning you, do what you want in the end, it's your life, but the people shall not say like they did in the case of all Propehts, Thou has not sent a warner.

It's not me speaking, it's Allah speaking without calling myself Allah and it's Muhammad (saw) speaking.

Re: Jealousy

OK Numb, weren't you the one who wrote of a few issues with your wife in your blog. Talk about telling others not to talk to na-mahrem women. RIGHT.

Re: Jealousy

If he had to talk with them to discuss something for work or something of a business matter, then Id be ok with it. But I wouldnt like for my husband to be all buddy buddy chummy chummy with girls and just sit around chatting on MSN with them. For me it doesnt have anything to do with trust, he could come home at 3am and Id never suspect where he was or doubt anything he says to me. I just personally wouldnt like for him to be close friends with girls like that, and thankfully he isnt one to do stuff like that anyways

we live in a world where men and women work together, so you have to be realistic.

Re: Jealousy

Guys, I think it is about trust. Think about it...you're not with your husbands all the time are you? You need to be able to trust him.

Also, here is something I can attest to: if I really care about someone, I will not talk to any other guy. No matter how hard a guy tries, it will not change my emotions/feelings. At some point, I will shut this other person out due to loyalty to my SO. It is completely within my control.

Now, if I hesitate to shut him out, he will sense it and that will be his green light to keep pursuing me.

Re: Jealousy

BUT chatting and being close Facebook buddies is a bit odd for an attached guy...I dont think I would like it if it became intrusive.
