Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
Agreed. :hinna: I frankly don’t get the criticism at all. If you want good for the country, good for Pakistan, then what’s the problem. Unless one has a corrupt mind or sinister motives, I can’t imagine someone disagreeing/criticizing when someone has good intentions and wants to bring about a change. If something good is happening, let it be, take part in it, and join the fun. Win win for everyone.
An example is our cricket team - everyone wants to be a captain. They dream about it, fantasize themselves being captain, instead of keeping an eye on and improving their performance. Same is the case with political parties and their followers. I don’t doubt the general public (and even members here), and their good intentions, but they dream about their party fixing the country. Ask anyone, and they’ll say that only their party can fix everything.
Another problem is people here don’t just follow political parties, they worship personalities. And the political parties know this fact and exploit it. So if Imran Khan has his place up for grabs and holds election on all posts in the party, that is as good a thing you and I can hope for.
So very true.
I can see (or hope) PTI doing the same.
