No they are not. Visit the Jadoo site , it still has that ticker saying some channels have been removed at content providers request , blah , blah , blah.This guy built a business on illegal streaming and then left everybody hanging. He knew he will not be facing a class action suit from those who paid up to 300 dollars per unit because they are all desi and do not indulge in law suits. Now I am thinking to start a class action suit against him and ask members to pay 50 dollars each to be part of the case so that they can recover their 300 dollars. I can make some money this way.
P.S: I did not buy the unit because I knew that Jadoo is streaming programs illegally.

so my sister decided to have one. I think she got that about a year ago. She paid 250. if she had to pay 40 bucks a month for one year to see all those channels through regular dish, she ended up saving 150 or more. So I guess she should not complain even if the box is not working (not that she is complaining :D)

Plus she got pretty much allllllll t/ Pakistani channels , not just 3/4 Paksiatni channels, hence she had a choice, and got to watch thm LIVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Jadoo TV Box is made in china. jadoo owners are in USA. from USA it comes to canada. if it was illegal. the customs would have stopped it the first time.
everytime these boxes come from china to usa, and then usa to canada… they are checked and questioned. they come in HUGA bulks. not in suitcases.

The channels on them are taken from internet streams. and they are there to WATCH!!.. the only difference is that you dont watch them on your computer, but on your TV. its as simple as that.
