Aamil's shudn't charge any amount if they're genuine they treat each case without being paid a cent. Recite the ayat ul kursi and 4 kuls as much as possible and see an aamil Inshallah whatever it is will be sorted out.

This is another important point- one way to tell if an aamil is legit is that he won't charge. The easiest way to find one is to get a reference from an aalim.

I hate to burst your bubble but I've heard this story way before and from many people. Same exact story. They all swear by it. But in reality, it is lunacy to actually believe such things.
Secondly. There is a condition of Psychosis that occurs, when the human body unexpectedly interacts with thin air on high altitudes. As a result of decreased amount of oxygen, the brain malfunctions in many ways like loss of contact with reality.
People experiencing psychosis usually report hallucinations, delusional beliefs, and exhibit personality changes and confused thinking.
Your grandfather's friend may be in dire need of medical help. I suggest you help him, instead of listening to a story that he heard when he was a kid.
One only starts to believe in such wen they are hit hard by such happeningz! :D ur reluctance in trying to understand doesn't mean it doesnt happen, our Prophet (saw) had it happen on him, so we can't deny it! and yes ppl do exaggerate and associate everything negative happening in their life with jinnz n Jadu, wanting sumthing to blame, in a sense finding sum kind of comfort hence allocating jadu as a cause for such calamities faced in life, which is going to an extreme. However despite saying tht, Jadu is common and it does happen and when thingz go out of control, a person realises there is some external force involved. A person can only accept when they experience it or see sumone else go through it, u shud b grateful u havent come accross it ;)

hi i know this guy who use to smoke drugs for couple of years one day he realised he was in the wrong he asked allah swt for forgiveness he prayed 5 times namaz and always talked about our deen he ended up in mental hospital he got depressed his wife thinks someone had done magic on him, but i think it was when he stopped the drugs in one go and it affected him alot he start reading a lot about punishment in the hearafter i dont think it was magic, does anyone know what it could be that he ended in hospital?

It cud be the withdrawel sym's..if you suspect that there's magic done on you or u're family start-ff by reciting "Ya haiyu ya qaiyumo be-rehmatika istagheesu" and recite the 4 kuls regularly...then look for an aamil or buzurg that can find out for you...and give a ayat's to read from the Quran.

There is no such thing as magic. I don't believe it personally. Jinn's are probably aliens, as its a great possibility for intelligent life outside of earth.

When we talk abt such magic ..we dont talk about producing a rabbit out of a hat! this is more complex and people use it to their advantage...and Jinn'z are not alienz...they're another of God'z creation, just not visible to the human eye ..and yes they lead normal lives like us humanz but their nature is quite different from us.

4 quls, ayatul qursi, walk backwards in circles while reciting surah 34, try some raindancing and walking on coal too, then wear a straw skirt, light a bonfire, dance around it while chucking coconuts into the fire and chanting "the night time is the right time"

Okay, people who are desperately trying to deny existence of jaadu and jinn, for their information, these two are not just somebody's child of fertile imagination but the verses of the Quran proves their very existence. However, I do agree that not every illness, problem, difficulty etc. isn't due to jinn or magic.
