I spent in total 4 years at university, with a 2 year break in between. It has amounted to SFA in terms of opportunities or options. I have no hope, I dont know what to do.
I plead with all of you, stick to science subjects. I know now why desis all do engineering, MoFo’s get jobs with that sh*t!

Don't know what country you are in but have you tried government jobs? Such as the diplomatic corps, state government, postal service?
Have you considered the Education field such as teaching at the college or school level?
m doing biomedical engineering.. if i can get through :( i know i can get a job easy...

I am in the UK. I applied for teaching course, the teacher reference I gave never got around to writing one and my application has stalled/died.
Diplomatic Service effectively demands you are white. Sure there will be 1 token Asian, but you get the point.
Bro, Allah knows, I have made 100 + applications across so many fields and firms, nothing. I got good grades too at uni, its not like I messed that up, just pure BS man. I am stressing.

Don't loose hope my dear friend , start some kind of job , even an odd job at some burger stand to make you busy. Sky is the limit. The times are tough.
Be flexible and open for any kind opportunity . Be flexible to move. Inshallah one day your dreams will come true , just try and try and you will succeed.
When we are in this kind of fix we feel trapped and helpless. Ask for Allah's blessings if you believe in Allah and have trust in him.
Try to learn some alternate skills like some kind of computer related skills which are still in demand .

ME is a no go. Family situation means I cant go so far, and besides I hear they dont exactly treat Indians/Pakistani's too well over there.

ME is a no go. Family situation means I cant go so far, and besides I hear they dont exactly treat Indians/Pakistani's too well over there.
At one point of time I was in that kind of fix where I could not get even a newspaper or Pizza delivery job. Then some of my computer related courses I did gave me a break into IT and rest is history.
So there is hope at the end of the tunnel , try some telemarketing jobs they are always hiring , people burn out fast at job which involve cold calling. As for treatment of Pakistani and Indians in ME , that bad treatment is limited to labor class kind of jobs if you get a white collar , supervisory or managers job you will be OK. But I understand if you cannot move because of family situation.

LBGoogly Bhai.........I think with your History background plus International relations you should take some Journalism courses.....and become a reporter..:)

Couldn't you apply as an intern or into some Professional Associate's program at some insurance company. They even hire Psychology majors but it depends on how you present yourself in your resume. Have you done any kind of work on campus/internship during school? Also have you considered Underwriting as a career? We have underwriters/appraisers with Art History/Psychology backgrounds. They just got their foot in the door and worked their way up.
