when my cousins and i get together (which is pretty much every week as we live within a 10 mile radius of eachother) we LOVE making fun of our typical hyderabadi speaking family members…our family is a good mix of 100% Indian Hyderabadis, those that were born in Khi after nana/nani moved over, and then those like myself who are born and raised in US…so all of us have our different styles of Urdu, but you can definitely tell where we’re from…
so recently, my choti khala’s daughter got engaged to a guy in chicago (also hyderabadi, surprise!) and so someone posted this on Facebook and tagged them both…I think I peed in my pants laughing so hard! If you have not seen this already, enjoy!
