It's your forum..

Re: It’s your forum..

Khoji thanks for noticing. But then Yazdi believes on Pakistani system where one can do all the sins in the world, from womanising to plundering, gambling to corruption, murdering to kickbacks, looting to lying, involved in nepotism to misusing powers, and then if he/she is one of favourite then his sins becomes past deeds that should be forgiven, forgotten and should not be mentioned (in words of Shujjat Hussain: ‘Mitti pau’).

Well, that has to happen in Pakistan for Pakistan to be where it is now (struggling to survive morally and economically) … that is, forget the past or even present bad/undesirable deeds of political thugs and only see what ‘sweet talks’ that thug dishes out to attract votes, else, how can Pakistanis would support and vote corrupts, thugs, cheats, liars, plunderers, looters, exploiters, ect … what Pakistanis do and have done not once but unabatedly and unashamedly, throughout Pakistan history.

I just want to ask Yazdi that:

If you find indecent when mentioning Imran Khan’s confirmed reputation, something Imran himself is not ashamed of, than what do you think of those who would like to support and vote Imran Khan in spite of knowing Imran’s confirmed reputation?

My second question is that … do you find calling someone corrupt, murderer, looter, plunderer, liar, lota, dictator, etc (all counts as name-calling) as indecent as what you finds about Imran’s reputation?

My third question is that … if purpose of this forum should be only to talk about ideas of political parties and ideas party leaders dish-out to sell themselves to public, than what idea could be better than idea of PPP (Zardari), that is ‘Roti, Kapra aur Makan’ for all Pakistanis who are mostly poor … something PPP leaders say all the time and is paramount promise of PPP to voters. Is there any political party in Pakistan that have better slogan?

That is different matter that PPP never fulfils their promises neither they intend to as most of PPP leaders (just like leaders of PML(Q), PML(N) as well as most other parties) are not only rich living on exploiting poor, but have reputation as exploiters, corrupts, plunders, looters, and thugs … but then if one should not mention that (as mentioning their reputation would be name calling) than what one should do, hide their truth and keep them making fool of mostly illiterate Pakistani masses … I mean should do ‘mitti pau’ on their reputation?

PS: I am not saying that Imran is the worse choice Pakistanis have in Pakistani politics, but as far as mentioning possible cause of Sherry Rahman not joining PTI, Imran’s reputation cannot be left un-mentioned (regardless of she took that reputation into question or not). It would be same with any politician who is also leader of party that his/her reputation has to be mentioned (and should be taken into account), as reputation plays a part in making people deciding to join or not join a party. For instance, many people who would have joined PPP under Z A Bhutto may not join PPP under A A Zardari … not because party is different or manifesto of party is different, but because of party leaders’ reputation.
