Get us a box of chocolates, some ice cream and pizza with extra cheese and double black olives.
Then, just leave us alone with Gone with the Wind in the DVD player.

Re: Its that time
some things are better not shared.
Oh for goodness sake, women have been menstruating since the beginning of time - why on earth do we need warm milk, back rubs, or extra hugs for 3 months of the year? When women throw childish tantrums and blame it on hormones for 1/4 of the year we lose any arguments we lose the gender equity argument.
I didn't know you can discuss this topic here...
Amna you are brave and honest.God bless you... This is what my thread 'Aaj Ki Aurat' is all about.

Amana
Some of us have a rougher time then other with the whole time of the month deal and a little extra TLC doesnt hurt...always helps. :)
^ I know it can be tough for some, but a lot of women use it as an excuse. :)
Agreed. A lot of women do - they take full advantage of the fact that men have no clue what it feels like - so they can make it seem much worse than it is.
Having said that, PMS is not all a made-up story.
Unfortunately, we can’t go around taking it out on other women as they would be more than willing to rip you apart without a problem. We also can’t take it out on parents. So HE is God’s blessing. He gets a fair share of all the moodiness and frankly it feels very nice to make him a little miserable too. :halo:
p.s. to answer the question what men should do: not take anything too seriously, put your ego on the side for a little time - let her get away with some of the stuff she says. Oh and hug her. But wear something soft. :halo:
Well thats really convenient after a rough day at work. I’d have loved to see your response/reaction to the very same advice given to you…if men had PMS!
PS: I thank heavens every minute for not being generous on men when it came to pms!
Re: Its that time
To hell with South Park "jokes".
If I knew he was faking PMS, mood-swings and just being a drama king for the heck of it, then yes, I’d not be pleased.
But if I knew he was genuinely moody and uncomfy then I’d try to make it as smooth as possible for him.
^ That’s my response/reaction to my advice. :halo: :halo:
Exactly. That “IF” is the problem.
Re: Its that time
Dude, practice makes perfect.
If she's faking it, eventually you'll be able to tell. Until then, be nice.
Re: Its that time
^ which takes us right back to being very conveniet after a rough day at work.
It just sucks.

Re: Its that time

Would injecting morphine be any good for women in such times? just wondering.
Re: Its that time
…and I dont mean women injecting their men with morphine. Just so there is no doubt ![]()
Jaanwar, you animal! ![]()
That was too too rude. ![]()
But to serve you right, I’d say yeah, go ahead and mention this to her and see where this gets you.![]()
Re: Its that time
^ Come on! just trying to do women a service - in general.
And saving men all that nagging.
