There are thousands of state sanctioned unjustified deaths in Iraq…Can you bring proof they committed acts deserving death?
Why must their deaths be accounted for and not an Iraqi? Would ten deaths of Iraqis equal a newsworthy frontpage story? How about 25? 50? 100?
More than a 100,000 innocent Iraqis are dead and thousands die everyday and not a word from the ‘rational’ people…Here people want justifications, rationalizations, punishments, curses, blames, guilt and everything else that can be wiped with a TP as to 40 deaths that happened because someone couldn’t take it anymore…
This war was a proclamation of the end of negotiations between ‘Radical’ Islam and the west…Any hopes that might have been had about ‘resolution’ ended with the invasion of Afghanistan…

I agree with maddy and Kaleem. As Muslims we are against taking lives of innocents. We are against such horrific killings.
However, there is always something that sets them off. In order to prevent such in the future, what people need to do is think about why it happened and what can be changed to stop such things in the future.
Honestly either way its the innocent people who have to pay and who are killed.

Do you remember the sanctions placed in 1992? If you count the deaths from the famine and diseases, that alone brings it to almost 2 million…

Yep, blame it on the wahabis, sunnis, shias or whatever group catches your fancy, but no, never admit that westeren nations played a part in imposing the stooges on those unfortunate folks and dictated every socio economic move of that counrty. dont forget the bombing of water and sanitization system of Baghdad and then imposing sacntions which prohibited parts/machinery/technology to fix the problems. Diseases that spread because of that alon killed over 100,000.

^^ OK, OK. I'm convinced. All these heinous actions by western civilization justify the dismemberment of a few Londoners during their morning commute. Not only is it justified. I'm sure someone can find some Islamic scripture (or at least a mullah or two) stating that it is a Muslim jihadi's holy duty to blow a few up. Praise Allah.

Ahmadjee, why are you running away from the facts...we can talk about peopel killed by Saddam. I have no problem in admitting that he was a brutal dictator who killed many innconet people. This, however, is no excuse for US and UK to raid and kill innocnet people in the name of so called "freedom"...oh wait it was threat to US security...no , it was WMDs...I forget which one was it. Anyway, can you refute those numbers? If not, I suggest we move on to fidning the cause for these killings and not just the means. Yes Al-Qaeda is just the means to perpetrate horrific mass murders, which by the way are no different than allied armies killing inncoent afghanis and iraqis.

This really is a sad day, not only becuase of the lives lost, but, educated folks like you cannot seem to realize the fallacy of partial forien policy and un-needed tweaks in the day to day lives of the people who want nothing else but to live in peace.
