**I too have my Nikkah in Dec IA, and I have the same problem...
But then I decided to wear saari on the function (lets see how it goes) and if I wont find any then anarkali frock, with embroidery/kaam on the bottom instead of it on choli... or simple shalwar qameez, with either ghaeray wali shalwar or choridaar pajama.. but that WONT be definitely shalwar qameez or lehnga

personally I don't like brides wearing lehngas on their Nikkah, I think the lehnga shouldbe kept for the barat n walima day. I wore Chiffon shalwar kameez with heavy work on shirt on my nikkah, now for the wedding I'll wear lehnga or sharara etc. Another my fav option is wearing Churi daar pajama with long shirt (I'll wear it on my mehndi, so will have all the styles Shalwar kammez, pajama n lehnga). so my advise is not to go for lehnga..unless u are too skinny & nothing suits u well just because of ur body structure, i have seen few too skinny girls wearning lehngas on all occassions (engagement, mehndi, barat n walima) & looking fabulous!
Also remember Nikkah dress is abit heavier than engagement's dress.
your so lucky u get to chose ur nikkah outfit, in our family, the groom side brings the nikkah outfit. If i could chose i wud wnat something white on my nikkah, kind of like the english bridal dress, or a simple white lengha.
