A few weeks ago, I was standing at the mall showing my toddler something, when I heard a loud Salamo alaikumm!! with so much zest, I didn't pay attention, but then I heard it again, I was in my head thinking, Oh better turn around see, and voila, there it was. This young young Gora red head youth, with a beard and an uba, and his hiking backpack saying Asalamo alaikum Sister ...me though baffled replying his salam, he turns back and walks away with me left a bit dumbfounded then thinking!

It's so refreshing to hear this...there is a muslimah from south africa who pratically ululates her Salaam (slalalalala-lekum)....tsk tsk...:D
