I’ve asked this before also, but i didn’t really get much satisfactory responses.
I want to ask again. Please clarify.
I want to know that, how much do colours matter in dream while doing Istikhara. When i pray Istikhara, i sometimes see both negative & positive colours together in dreams, like black & white together or red & green together or like that.
If Istikhara was as simple as a set of traffic lights then it stands for reason why you are so confused regarding your multi-coloured dreams. The dreams that count and are from istikhara are so clear that you (as the watcher) do not have any doubt about what they mean ... What you should be looking for instead of colour is a feeling ... A feeling of either apprehension or determination/encouragement ... these should be how you navigate through your decisions ... Also, always make the decision first act on it and continually assess whether it is making you feel better or worse ...
Respected Pinkyy,
You ll get satisfactory response from some religious scholar who studies many years to become a scholar. I am sorry but not everyone can become a scholar by reading just a few Islamic books.
all the best
Well - i guess - it not much to do with color - you will naturally get tilted to one of the option - and believe me you will know with time - that its good 4 u
When I said sunnah, I did not mean sunnah as practice, because prophet did not need Istikhara, he had Wahi for that matter. I meant his Hadith. I do not have the exact reference available for the hadith but I have read it with references in many religious books.
I never know what is 'Istakhara', even though I hav seen some Pak channel broadcasting about it. Yesterday I asked a friend and he told me tha 'Istakhara' is this and this.
That is why I asked and so far i never read about it in any hadith.
Istikhara is sunnah of the prophet and highly recommended by his teachings.
I never heard if Prophet PBUH ever recommended by his teachings. In another post, do you mean hadith like where Prophet PBUH informed if you read a 'Tasbeeh' of that much time than you'll see sign of 'this and that' as clue?
