Whats wrong about iqbals views????
Re: Israr Ahmed
I like his lectures. He well expresses the views of Dada Iqbal :rehm:.
Re: Israr Ahmed
He is an Xcellent person, learned, & I love him.

I have GREAT respect for him. His lectures have changed me. His talks are soo practical towards the solution of problems of Muslim Ummah. No mention of sects, no differences based on little things, very broad objectives and a truely sincere person.
Re: Israr Ahmed
x-cellent scholar who is not afraid to speak out.
I heard a rumor that he is ban in KSA..is it true?
Re: Israr Ahmed
I listen to him sometimes too. He is a great scholar. He has his own style of lecturing, which is amazing. All I know is his Aqeedah is not the views of Bralvis.
Re: Israr Ahmed
I like that last part...Barelvi aqeedahs are now been sanctioned out of nine zero and Altaf's minime...
Re: Israr Ahmed
His thinking is between Ehl-e-Hadith and the Hanafis. Still, he is a good person and I like his lectures. However, I don’t follow him.
Re: Israr Ahmed
OMG, what is your relationship with Dr. Javaid Iqbal? Have you ever heard the debates between him and Dr. Israr Ahmed?
What do you think about Dr. Javaid Iqbal’s thinking as a liberal muslim?
Re: Israr Ahmed
Last I remember he is of the Ahl-E-Hadith. Still a good scholar like Dr. Zakir Naik who is also Ahl-E-Hadith.
Re: Israr Ahmed

I believe they are referring to the original Iqbal, without whom Javaid Iqbal would be jamaadar....
Re: Israr Ahmed
He follows school of Ahnaaf but practices few of other schools as well for according to him, he found strong daleel doing that... for example Rafa Yaden :)
I've met him many a times, so yeah I know :-)
Re: Israr Ahmed
I know. Since OMG is Iqbal’s grand daughter and Dr. Javaid Iqbal has no daughter (I think), so she missed be related to the great poet through some other person. I saw a book by Mr. Aftab Iqbal, who said that he is Allama Iqbal’s son.

So...salafi
Re: Israr Ahmed
No way..
He even believes in Sufism though is not related to any sufi tareeqah but recognizes all 4 major tareeqahs ...

Then he is Ahl-e-Hadith.
Re: Israr Ahmed
Assalam O Aalaikom,
How are you? Is Ahl-e-Hadith different from Salafi? What are the major differences among those? Beside that, there is a Tablighi Jamaat. It seems confusing which one to follow.
Does any one know Shabbir Ally? I have seen him in Masjid located in Toronto 3 years ago. Christians debated with him and Shabbir Ally answered the questions beautifully. Shabbir Ally is hifzed of all four Books. I hope few people know about him.
Take Care,
Allah Hafiz!
Re: Israr Ahmed
Tablighi Jamaat is not a madhab. It is like a movement/organization. They follow the 4 madhabs.
Re: Israr Ahmed
Jazakallah Khair for replying. May you also let me know the differences among Ahl-e-Hadith and Wahhabism? Are they the same?
