It is complicated to decide a sect associated with Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaat. Allah Tallah provided us brain to think what is right or wrong. What we can do to find the truth is find the differences among the sects and think about each one. Jannah is not easy that everyone can go, it has to be earned like I said before.

It's okay brother, go to your local mosque and learn through the learnt scholars. THey will surely teach you Islam. InshALLAH! You won't get your answers here.

There is a Masjid in this area and I think it is Deobandism because they teach Talim-ul-Haq book. Usually we do not discuss regarding Aqeedah and sects in the Masjid. Our Masjid also provides Jamaat for 40 days. I could not go due to having job unfortunately. I would love to go to Jamaat. I am leaving now.

I totally disagree with Dr. Javed Iqbal’s views. He is missguiding people.

You know, Dada Iqbal :rehm: had vision that his son will follow some wrong views thats why he had written Javed Nama for him. He advised him not to follow such rubbish but Dr. Javed Iqbal forgot the messege.:hinna:

Now he is also showing wrong picture of his father to the world.

I know. Since OMG is Iqbal’s grand daughter and Dr. Javaid Iqbal has no daughter (I think), so she missed be related to the great poet through some other person. I saw a book by Mr. Aftab Iqbal, who said that he is Allama Iqbal’s son.

Well, yes he was the son of his wife from another husband.

Dada Iqbal :rehm: married four wives to have a son. Javed Iqbal was from fourth wife.

Okay, you can try to go for 3 days, friday night, sat-sun. Through those days you can get to learn what they experience. InshAllah everything will be good.

I might see if there is Jamaat for 3 days sometimes but the problem is I have a job on weekends unfortunately. Well, still I am responsible for it. Because we earn much rewards in going for Jamaat.

You can also do is go on jamaat for the time that you do not work. Let's say you work in the morning, you go on jamaat in the later day. I think they will allow you if you explain to the amir of the jamaat. Most 3 days are all local so easy transportation.

In this Masjid (Al Khair), I have seen Jamaats for 3 days minimum. The durating for Jamaat is 40 days in summer but we reduce the days. I am thinking of going for 3 days one on some other time. Maybe I might ask my job owner to skip 2 days for Jamaat. InshaAllah I will attempt to go when our Masjid will provide Jamaat next time.

I apologize people that I started going off topic, but this is critical as well. I have mentioned about Israr Ahmed. He used to lecture in Islamabad. People closed his program due to talking against about women regarding hijab. Now he is living in USA with a doctor profession. I watch his lecture sometimes on TV. I have no more words about it.

I glanced through Dr. Javaid Iqbal’s autobiography once. (forgot the title). I got the impression that Allama Iqbal’s early death in his (Dr. Javaid Iqbal) life and the fact that he was raised by a British maid caused him to turn the way he did. Anyways, he has earned a lot of respect and fame due to his great great father.

Do you know about the timeline of these marriages? Through which son/daughter of Iqbal do you belong to?
