No killings? You mean no killings that wren't official government-sanctioned killings cuz when Muslims weren't taking notice the government of Iraq was killing Iraqis by the hundreds of thousands. They were living under a tyrant that suppressed the population with a system of fear, imprisonment, killings, displacement and torture. The formerly suppressed, pissed off majority is now exacting revenge and the former ruling minority is pissed they are no longer in power and showing off their skills at mixing bombs, killing and religion.

But before this, over a 20 year period, the tyrannical sunni regime systematically executed, tortured, displaced, imrisoned, raped, terrorized and repressed the Iraqi people. From the figures I've seen, I'd estimate it at about 100-150 a day on average were killed. (This of course includes the figures of Kurdish and shia massacres). No, the buildings were not destroyed. Especially the palaces and idols created by the sunni regime with money that should have gone to the Iraqi people.

Figures that you have seen? Where did you see the figures at? CIA, NSA, who manufactured those figures. There is no doubt there were executions that took place before, but there is no way you are going to convince a sane individual that it was 100-150 aday. Plus, how do you account for all the infrastructure damage? Have we forgotten that we as in US destroyed the water and sewage system of Baghdad that led to the deaths of millions? Just keep things in perspective...It is a mess created by us and we need to clean it up. Cut and run is not going to be the answer.

The problem is you guys simply don't recognize Israels right to exist and no right to exist means no right to defend oneself hence everything Israel does is unjustifed and those that oppose it may do so in any way, shape, or violent form.
I have never said that Israel does not have a right to exist. They do, however, they do not have a right to occupy, torture, demean, kill and dehumanize people of Palestine. I will be willing to entertain your idea of "self defense" if Israel had given illegally occupied land back. Until then they are just reaping the benefits of their ill advised occupation.
You have a govt. in Gaza now in charge who's goal is to 'throw Israel into the sea' you don't like Israels reaction to that plan and you call them names like genocidal maniacs or you say that Israel is oppressive. You ignore the fact that Israel is a legal state and was attacked muliple times and through the victory of war they took land away from those who were defeated and you don't care to bring up the fact that they have given back land to the very people who attacked them in exchange for peace.

*Is a legal State. *Has been attacked multiple times by neighbors. *Took land after winning wars from the defeated attackers. *Has given land back to those attackers who they defeated in exchange for peace. *Some neighbors still want them destroyed.
*Yes, Israel is a legal state.
*Debatable if they have been attacked multiple times or they initiated an attack. Case in point...last destruction and indiscriminate killing of Lebanese people.
* There have been numerous UN resolutions asking Israel to return the land...oh I guess they don't care what Un says as long as it does not include bombing a Muslim nation.

hmmm... mom teaches her kids to kill their neighbors. The children go to jail or our otherwise punished. Mom's house is confiscated in an attempt to get the children to stop killing. The kids keep killing. Mom is actually elected as leader of the neighborhood. The kids keep killing. And then someone wonders why the kids are being controlled by someone besides Mom. How is Mom ever going to get her house back and have a safe place for her kids to play? When will the neighborhood realize Mom isn't the best neighborhood leader and elect a peaceful leader that will get along with the neighboring community ?
