And all you people supporting this kind of irresponsible and messed up JAHILAANA statement, I have no idea what to tell you. All of you need to grow up. I thought the younger generation was much more sensible and quite cabable to tackle these difficult and complicated situations like sensible adults but I am highly uncomfortable and disappointed to see you people supporting that statement. Really.

Are you kidding? Who said that America will ever going to support Iran. US and its puppy Israel have plans to start a war with Iran anyway. The statement made by Iranian President won’t make a difference in US’s and Israel’s hostility towards Iran.

Well, right there is capsule summary form we have the root cause for 50 years of conflict in the Middle East. The reality is that Isreal has kicked arab a$$ everytime they have tried to “wipe them off the map”. With plenty of Atomic weapons, Israel is here to stay. So this moron is either stupid or stubborn or both. Why am I not suprised?
His words will haunt him, and, as UTD says, when a Head of State calls for the complete destruction of another country, that is tantamount to a declaration of war. Send in the Isreali Air Force this weekend please… Perhaps they will not get all of the Iranian nuclear program, but they will set them back a couple of decades…

Not at all.
Israel and Iran are already at war. They have been at war for decades. There has never been so much as a cease fire between Israel and Iran. You cannot declare war on a country when you are already at war with it!
Israel and Iran, because they are currently at war, already have the legal right to lob a couple of bombs and missiles into each others countries. I still fail to see what is wrong with the leader of one country making comments like this about a country his nation has been in a full state of war with for decades.
The fact that neither side has ever undertaken military action directly against the other does diminish the fact that legally, a state of total war exists between Israel and Iran and has been so for longer than I have blessed this planet with my existence and my wind.

Sorry mad scientist, this is the most idiotic statement I have read in your replies. Tell me when such statement you heard earlier in a non-Muslim world. May be in 19th century or earlier, …it is possible. Or, may be Hitler pronounced these words in 20th century…is possible? Can you name someone else? Even the hard core communist regimes refrain themselves from making such statements.
Frankly this statement coming from a Muslim leader, does not astonish me.

President Ahmednejad’s comments much milder Prime Minister Churchill’s comments were. Ahmednejad merely wished for the wiping out of the country, he did not mention the people. Churchill specifically called for the elimination of the entire Japanese race right down to the children.

Israel is a european colony which should be eradicated just like Apartheid South Africa was eradicated.

Ahmadinejad has repeated his called for the destruction of Israel. China and Turkey have joined the growing list of nations who have condemned the remarks.
Ahmadinejad is an extremist who doesn’t understand the politics of the world. May Allah protect the innocent people of Iran from the hardships he brings his country.
