If the west were right in it's Israel-love, and Israeli were truly the more "civilised" and "peaceful" nation who might be able to establish a Muslim-Jew Union, then it would seem they'd use their diplomatic, internation, and financial power to stop the Idealist-Extremist Muslim factions, rather than just slaughter people in retaliation. But, it seems the Israelis are no more civilised nor peaceful than any of the violent Muslim Extremist groups.

I think that someone, some power who might be openminded and fair to both groups, should step in and help in establishing peace. Poor Palestinians are being maliciously butchered in villages "suspected of terrorist activities" and poor Israelis are being violently exploded on their way to work because their government is causing more problams than originally anticipated by the early Zionist movement. It's not right.
Actually DarkLiquor Israelis are being exploded because of suicide bombers, yet you blame Israel for both sides of the conflict.

It is inevitable that the israeli state will not be around forever yes at the moment they can pose in there gucci sunglasses and hold there uzi machine guns and spend the loans from the US but facts are the surrounding populations are just waiting for thier opportunity and that will arrive one day in the not too distant future!

Yes. But violence has been a way of life for the Israeli's since the beginning. Israel has been persecuting Palestinians, expelling them on mass, terrorising them, murdering their children and occupying their lands. Yet the the violence has achieved nothing for them. I respond: I do not blame israelis for the problems. I blame the flawed government of Israel for it's inability to assume the high position with which most westerners have regarded it. As I said... If the Israelis were truly the more advanced, civilised, and peaceful of the 2 conflicting groups, they would be able to provide a means by which peace can be established in this generation, rather than retaliating against the various bus-bombs with tank expeditions into the palestinians' land.
