I like this....let's keep splitting the occupied territories into smaller and smaller bits, and pretend like they don’t have anything to do with each other.
Could it possibly be that the rockets were in response to a general situation in the area...not exactly restricted to the unilateral pullout from Gaza...wha? They were expecting a box of chocolates? Whatever...

yes, they will leave. the tables turn once its neighbours are also in a position to level them and their supporters scurry to safer policies.
you could say thats light years away, but lets face it the conflict will still be there
for peace to have a chance a unified undivided palestinian state has to be achieved. this isnt going to happen
the current powerplay by israel is probably their last chance with heavy international support. even if the powerplay brings results the effect will only be marginal, buying time at best. a successful iranian nuclear programme will seal their fate.

How does an energy program affect Israel's defense?
The US is not going to back off support for Israel and sure are not going to start backing down from ME tyrants because they have nukes. If anything they will topple any anti-western government that achieves them and threatens. Anyway, whatever limited nuclear capability a ME state may achieve, the US (and/or Israel) can respond by wiping that country completely off the map.
