Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

Peace to everyone who supports Hezbollah,

It seems to me that NO ONE on this pathetic forum is Lebanese. Most people making their ignorant commentaries on this situation are Pakistani morons and white American imbeciles.

I am Lebanese, Christian Maronite, and my uncles are members of Hezbollah. (Yes idiots, Christians and Sunnis are part of Hezbollah, it's not your typical Islamist party or whatever retarded propaganda terms you idiots use these days).

Hezbollah is actually a party who CARES about the South, the region which is ignored by the central government in Beirut. They have built hospitals, orphanages, schools, (you know the things that the government should do, but they don't so someone has to do it.) Hezbollah is an integral, indigenious part of Lebanon. Moreover, they saved my family in the south, protected the Christians from the Sunni and Phalangist armies. Without the protection of Hezbollah, our family would have been butchered by Israeli-supported terrorists. Of course you idiots will still bark your anti-hezbollah propaganda.

GOD BLESS HEZBOLLAH, the only ones who protect Lebanon. God damn any fake Muslim or fake Christian who is against Hezbollah. True followers of Jesus, the son of God, support Hezbollah. The rest so-called Christians are cowards.

Another question, any of you idiots ever visited Lebanon?

Re: Ground Attacks on Sothern Lebanon

antiobl, please lets not open thread one for each piece of news for updates on Lebanon/Israel issue. Thanks.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

Wow!

Seems like Hizbis are good people like Edhi of Pakistan! Not!

Hizbis have brought terror to the region by setting up a parallel army / militia in Lebanon.

If you are truly a Lebanese, then shame on you for allowing a parallel army in your country with a known track record of violence in the region.

If you are trly a Leabanese, then you guys do not deserve a separate country. Why because you don't know how to take care of it in geo-political situation.

You guys know very well that in the past Israelis, Druz, Syrians, Iranians, and every Tom, Harry and Dick has used and abused your country.

Still you don't learn. No wonder so much death and destruction + civil war has been going on for so long.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

Antiobl,

Have you ever been to Lebanon, visited the south? Or is the brainwashing media enough for you?

Care to disprove any thing I said with actual proof?

Hizbollah has actually brought good to our region, our region was largely ignored by the central government. But don't let FACTS get in the way of your incessant rantings.

Seriously I didn't think Pakistanis were this stupid.

Hizbollah saw the necessity and they took charge. What do you want them to do? Surrender to the Sunni and Christian minorities, and let them rape the South?

Oh and EVERY political party in Lebanon has a milita, not just Hezbollah.

48% of Lebanese is Shia. If a REAL election and a REAL democracy in Lebanon took place, Hezbollah would win majority. Right now you have the minority Sunni ruling Lebanon, but Hezbollah will rule soon, inshallah.

Waiting for more nonsensical responses from non-Lebanese "experts"

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

Nobody is arguing one whit about what Hezbollah does within the country. We are certainly happy that your life was spared, and for that you do owe them loyalty.

However I wonder if you wil continue to see their wisdom as your country is ripped to shreds.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

OG,

We will see what happens. We Lebanese are used to this kind of stuff anyways.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

Are you in Lebanon now, or are you in contact with your family there? How are they faring?

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

Lebanese TV showed footage of what it said was an Israeli F-16 fighter aircraft falling from the sky over Beirut in flames.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

OG,

I am not in Lebanon, I actually came to visit my cousins in the US for the summer. I live and work in Berlin though.

Contact is very little due to the fighting, they have evacuated towards the north. They all seem to be well, though.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

Well, that is a blessing.

Gupshup at first glance is a place where some strong words and opinions are exchanged. However the debate is generally healthy debate, and beyond all else, most here are here to reach out to others through the miracle of the internet. Despite the hot language sometimes, there is a genuine warmth to many of the members here.

I hope that you know that all of us here may debate the politics, but each one of us will pray for the safety of your family. Please extend our best wishes to them for their health and safety in these difficult times.

As you are able, please join in the debate, as your experience sounds interesting and lends a first hand view to those of us who have never been to Lebanon.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel’s response (threads)

Not all of them, DaBest, not all of them…

However, as you can see, many amongst us that you have interacted with on this board are media frenzied speechbots with as much of their own opinion as Fox television…

It is good to see that like the Palestinian Christians (who are many in Hamas itself) Lebanese freedom fighters also consist of forces made up various religions who fight for nothing more than justice and freedom…

As far as the sympathies are concerned, most world wise, knowledgable and patriotic Pakistanis are with the Hezbollah in their time of need…

Peace be to you too, DaBest…Take care…

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel’s response (threads)

Thank you OG, your kind words mean a lot. I will try to contribute as much as I can and of any first hand news I recieve.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel’s response (threads)

Thank you Lajawab.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel’s response (threads)

Most lebanese christians hate Hezbollah with a vengeance. Some years have passed since the long civil war but they still have a lingering animosity. One view of the treatment of lebanese christians by Hezbollah and Palestinians.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel’s response (threads)

LOL can you please give us a deep analysis of this statistical survey that you have conducted?

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

can you give us a deep analysis to prove him wrong?

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel’s response (threads)

The one who makes the assertion has to prove himself.
One cannot just say that most Lebanese Christians (what kind of Christians first of all? Maronite? Greek Orthodox? Are these Christians citizens of Lebanons or living in the West?) hate Hezbollah without proving himself.

I never said that most Christians support Hezbollah fully, but they have mix feelings toward them. My family who is Christian has members in Hezbollah. We support them wholeheartedly and I know plenty of Christians in the South who feel the same way.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

But there are plenty of christians who don't like Hezbollah....

i live in Toronto, I have lots of lebanese, christian, druze and muslim friends and most of my christian and druze friends hate hezbollah.....

you might like syria, but there were plenty of lebanese who hated syria.....

you didn't offer any statistical proof of the level of support that christians give hezbollah and you accuse other posters of doing the same.....

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel's response (threads)

The Christians and the Hezbollah fought a civil war for almost 20 years because of their great love and respect for each other.

Re: Israel humiliated /Israel’s response (threads)

I would if I could. But I will tell you this, if a real election and real democracy was implemented in Lebanon, Hezbollah’s numbers would be far, far higher than they are now. 48% is a very conservative estimate given these days of the number of Shi’a in Lebanon. It can be much higher. Even secular Shia’s will give thier support to Hezbollah, even if they don’t follow thier Islamic ideology.
