Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

^ LOL

phoenixdesi; i think you're being too naive and whatnot. seriously, UN called for them to stop today as well. again. kaun sunta hai?

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

^ That's the point!

No amount of pressure will stop Israel unless USA stops them. USA won't stop them because Israel is a vital strategic ally.

Hence no peace.

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

because we all love jews, it's the one thing we loveeeeee, and we all love jews all over the worldddddd

sung in the tune to that clover butter advert for the brits

my capacity to talk serious is limited. i'm out of here. sorry and bye.

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

USA is stopping short of even condemning it. But thats right.

If that BBC correspondent whose son was killed turns into a 'jihadi' or 'terrorist' as they say against Israel, who can REALLY blame him?

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

but i never said we need to stop israel or USA...or beg them to stop...or condemn them..or pressurize them...no need for all that since it never worked... I am saying something else..

I am saying that arabs/turks shd take things in their hands and apply pressure on hamas and demilitarize it along with hazb and fatah....why do you need to beg Israel or usa to do that? and in parallel we need to start working towards putting a proper fund to do development...so right away, you are shutting down Israel's biggest complaint and popoganda: militarized Hamas with rockets....

and more importantly you will start a huge rehabilitation process...which will give hope to Palestinians...

now you may think it is naive but i am involved with many projects there....here are some examples in last 4 weeks:

AECOM Water has said it expects to finish
a feasibility study into water recycling
and wastewater reuse in the new Palestinian
city of Rawabi before the end of January. The
city is currently under construction in the
West Bank, with development led by Bayti, a
real estate firm jointly owned by Qatari Diar
and Massar International. Bayti aims to start
the process of wastewater infrastructure
procurement for the city of 40,000 once the
feasibility phase is complete.***

The Government of Turkey has been in
discussions with the Union for the Mediterranean
(UfM) Secretariat and the Palestinian
Water Authority over providing finance
for the 100,000m3/d Gaza desalination project.
About half of the estimated $425 million
price tag has already been committed by
a combination of Saudi and Kuwaiti development
funds, in addition to a French funding
injection.

But you need 10 times more projects of such nature....actually 100 times more and that is why i am saying that you need a proper rehabilitation/development fund of 20-50B by rich arabs and Turkish government. even Europe will put money into it.

but in parallel and that is the key ..... you need to completely demilitarize hamas, haz bullh and fatah....that is the key and it will be a game-changer...arab governments and turks can do it because mobarak and dirty arab military leaders are gone who were US puppets

this process of demilitarization should be managed by arabs/turks to shut down Israeli propaganda...and yes israeli war mongers will create trouble but they will not have enough choice...their own public will put pressure on them

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

^ dude I get what you saying. Hamas and Hizbullah must be disarmed completely but like you said earlier, it HAS to be a two step process. As long as Israeli army is surrounding them, you can rest assured disarming will NEVER happen.

Talk to a palestinian man who has suffered and you will find out how much he hates america, and his muslim 'brethern' equally.

Its not just the bombs, its the blockage that hurts palestenians more.... making it the world's largest open air prison.

and when one is in prison, its hard not to get crazy. Hamas and Hizbullah are there to facilitate the process.

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

....

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

and I am saying this is doable...but lets not make it a chicken or egg dilemma... after 25 years we know by now that we dont have military power + a global political framework to force Israel to finish the blocakde given its stand: militarized hamas+hazbullah+iran sending weapons...and if we cannot change the equilibrium that just brings more and more destruction for Palestinians, lets do some out of the box thinking....

With changed geopolitical realities in the middle east ... with turks and arab leadership coming closer like never before... and with dirty arab military puppets finally out of the pic, the most likely outcome is not a joint arab+turk military alliance against Israel...that will never happen....

the most likely and practical output is what i am proposing..."a big rehabilitation/infrastructure development exercise + demilitarization of hamas/hazb/fatah at the same time + this process developed, managed and run by arabs & turks and not by US, Europe or Israelis" which will force israel to finish the blocakde process...not right away but in 12-18 months israel will...but lets not make it a chicken or egg dilemma by demanding israel to finish its blocakde from tomrorow because while this is the right demand, our poor negotiation position unfortunately does not allow us to execute it otherwise we would have executed it by now.

what is the other option..same old same old why would israel learn to anyone? why would US listen to anyone? we have to do some out of box thinking and take the lead

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

What is the situation in the West Bank under the PLO, I don't hear much about their problems. What are they doing differently there compared to Hamas and as such do not get Israels wrath.

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

The fighting is going on in Gaza. Why are you bringing West Bank into it? If there was trouble in Gaza and West Bank like there has been in the past, then you would ask why is there no problem with Jordan or Egypt.

The fact is that Israel has problem with a lot of its neighbours and the solution is through politics and not through trying to bully them into submission.

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

You don't know me Arshad, so please do not pretend you do. You may well have your preconcieved views about me but they aren't necessarily true.

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

You are right that I don't know you. But I understand your writing. I don't have any preconcieved ideas about anyone. I am judging you and everyone else here by their arguments.

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

That is how most western leaders start their statements regarding Israel/Palestine. O Bhai, from what? It is the strongest country in the region. First give Israel the blank cheque to do as it wishes and then give some lip service to peace and restraint.

Re: Israel Attacks Gaza With Airstrikes

Couldn't agree more. No one can deny the brutality of the Israeli regime. No one can ignore the terrible atrocities committed by the IDF but to retaliate with home made rockets that have such a terrible precision rate that it's actually embarrassing is beyond ridiculous. What do these rockets achieve??? Palestinians can't defend themselves in the open air prison they live in. They need help but no one is willing to step forward. And ppl need to stop being naive to expect Israel to stop anytime soon or the US to withdraw its support. It's not going to happen so let's think of an alternative solution.

All our anger should be channeled in to prayers for those who are innocent and suffering in this

For nothing is stronger than a prayer heard by Allah SWT
