It is so sad that inspite of years of negotiations, the conflict is still not settled. It is such a shame that innocents on both sides are being harassed like this. If you think that the Palestenians are the only guys suffering(I was of the same opinion until recently I met an Israeli guy. He was telling me that everyday is a nightmare with a constant fear of suicide bombs), it is the same with Israelis too.
I understand there can be a amicable solution, but both sides should be willing to relent. Hope better sense prevails.

what we do know that hamas launched over 600 missile attacks in 2010, around 700 in 2011 and so far close to 600 in 2012... you are welcome to do your own search and verify these numbers....independent sources confirm hat hamas has launched over 5000 missile strikes over israel in last 7 years....those missiles were targeting everyone....kids hospitals schools...and more importantly created a continuous state of psychological frustration among israeli citizens...

once they had gaza strip, they should have abandoned military outfit coz israel is far far superior and these missile strikes will only create more problems..their one-point agenda should have been to make gaza a better place to live no matter how brutal israel is....in few years Israelis would have backed out amid international pressure plus its own public would have demanded a back-off and rest of the world would have supported Palestinians with so much cash..but Palestinians picked a different course..hence paying the price...

and the logic that israel uses for blockades is the existence of hamas and hazb-ullah forces ... once Palestinians had gaza no matter how dysfunctional, hamas should have announced its dismantlement...in a year, israel would have backed out...they had to....these rich arab countries and iran who support hamas and haza by giving weapons, could have poured billions and make gaza a heaven... these arab countries could have used their connections with US...they built dubai from nothing into a heaven..but hamas chose to take a different path.
and remember there are many examples where nations succeeded despite injustice dumped upon them...
